Roger Posted 17 August, 2014 Posted 17 August, 2014 Really positive display today. Lamberts interview made it obvious what he thought problem with and Alex Davidson (Adams best mate) aswell as Adam Blackmore made it clear reed was unpopular. What did he do so wrong?

I mean, sometimes they refused to return some of Adam Lallana's five phone calls a day demanding a transfer. Poor old Dejan Lovren spent his summer waiting for Les Reed to call him, staring at his mobile like a lovesick teenager and nothing. We've speculated all summer, ive been a big critic of the new board but we are still here, have a decent squad and manager and the seasons started. Time to get back on the bus COYR

I heard Calum chambers was so upset that he didn't get 10 phone calls a day whilst on holiday in Dubai that he actually emailed the club that he was threatening to cut short his holiday if no one called him and told him who was making our new kit this season. No wonder he couldn't wait to get away, it ruined his holiday.

melmacian_saint Posted 17 August, 2014 Posted 17 August, 2014 I'm so glad we got this most awkward of all fixtures out of the way soon enough. Hopefully by the time they come down south it will all be forgotten as they sink into bench-warming anonymity.
