I think I saw this, and it's just been misinterpreted. Was along the lines of have you bought him off the back of 1 good season..etc.. so he justified it by saying he was also very good at Lyon, which to a degree is right. He's just saying that he was aware of him before Southampton and that he hasn't just been a 1 season wonder!

Anybody who thinks that Rogers was unaware of lovren and his abilities before he signed for us clearly doesn't know anything about Rogers. Say what you like about him ( and personally I find him a right big head) but he has great attention to detail and a vast knowledge of players.

Don't be so sensible, it's entirely accurate that Rodgers is a joke who hates Saints.
