To me, Schneiderlin is the epitome of a player who isnt committed. He hasnt even trained properly FFS. Koeman's last interview he had softened his tone slightly. He knows he can't count on Schneiderlin. He might not be physically gone but mentally he is.

 

Does he deserve a starting spot over Davis or JWP after his action? How would that come aross to others?

 

And if he isnt starting and playing well then I would rather sell him.

The decision to keep or sell him should not waiver on what has happened to the other players. Personally I think he should be made to stay out of principle.

 

Gut feel is he'll go for as you say £17/18m, interesting thing will be if it goes through prior to the start of September, and what happens to him if the deal doesn't go through by then.

 

I've got a feeling reading between the lines of recent press releases that Spurs may have to off-load some decent level players if they're to stick in a significant bid for Schneiderlin, so they need to get a move on to unload Dembele etc.

He is under Contract to SFC, so he should "work" to his Contract If he doesn't, he is in breach

 

If Kreuger waits until January before he sells him, then that is simply a cosmetic exercise to save face

 

At the end of the day, it's the same result. Schneiderlin will have got his wish, and will have never played for Saints again
