we are down.

there is now way you can replace 6 or 7 first teamers with a couple of weeks to go.....just no way

the players we get in will largly wont be as good. some of them will flop completely, some will do very well

that is the law of averages in transfers

but we have already surrendered our premier league place IMO

Anyone saying otherwise (let alone saying we will be better or set for a top half finish) are just deluded

that is the cold hard facts of it all

what we are doing is completely unprecedented for reason that it is pure insanity

We certainly aren't down, nothing is set in stone as of yet. However if we go with too many of the young academy players plus Hooieveld,Sharp,Mayuka etc on occasions we won't be far off at the end of the day. We seem to still be trying to sign players, whether they are of sufficient quality to ensure our survival remains to be seen. the PL is a hard league, there are no easy games and this is exactly what worries me with Koeman and some of the supposed recruits, they are used to steamrollering the opposition because they come from superior sides in their leagues. Saw Willem II against Marseille the other afty, now I know that Willem II are Dutch D2 but they were quite frankly atrocious, not even Sunday League quality, Bielsa doesn't have a great squad at Marseille and yet they just strolled past the Dutchmen.

At this moment' date=' with the players left, finishing one spot above the bottom 3 would be seen as success for me. Whether that opinion changes before the start of the season entirely depends on who we bring in after this car crash of a summer window.[/quote']

Which would be 17th ! Yay !

It wont matter how many players Saints get in, its going to take weeks for the team (if there is one of any experience) to get going. Creating goal chances and scoring goals is a worry as I see it, but now we have keeping goals out added to the problem. If the goal keeper goes to that's even more a problem

I can only assume you have bet every penny you own on this absolute fact? If you can get odds of 6-1 on an absolute certainty, surely that's just a license to print money.

Either that or you're just being a big girls blouse but we all know that's definitely not the case.
