Ed Rooney Posted 29 July, 2014 Posted 29 July, 2014 SSN Luke Shaw training on his own as he is deemed not fit enough to train with the first team oops
Window Cleaner Posted 29 July, 2014 Posted 29 July, 2014 SSN Luke Shaw training on his own as he is deemed not fit enough to train with the first team oops Probably what 6 weeks of Hodgson's grandad set up does for you.
Bucks Saint Posted 29 July, 2014 Posted 29 July, 2014 Munched his way through nearly 5% of his signing on bonus
St Chalet Posted 29 July, 2014 Posted 29 July, 2014 Sad in a way as in reflects the mentality of our national team. To be fair The United manager has done him a big favour for his future career with this kick up the arse.
S-Clarke Posted 29 July, 2014 Posted 29 July, 2014 It's like he's being used in a game of piggy in the middle between Jose and Van Gaal.
torsaint Posted 29 July, 2014 Posted 29 July, 2014 So with Lallana injured, Shaw huge and Rickie's normal slow start - why are we concerned about losing them (for £60m).
S-Clarke Posted 29 July, 2014 Posted 29 July, 2014 So with Lallana injured, Shaw huge and Rickie's normal slow start - why are we concerned about losing them (for £60m). Because they were our 3 best players and we're 100 times weaker without them.
St Mikie Posted 29 July, 2014 Posted 29 July, 2014 So with Lallana injured, Shaw huge and Rickie's normal slow start - why are we concerned about losing them (for £60m). Top post! Wahahaha
aintforever Posted 29 July, 2014 Posted 29 July, 2014 That's what happens when you give an 18 year old 100K a week. Hopefully he will go off the rails and end up addicted to coke and hookers. ****
david in sweden Posted 29 July, 2014 Posted 29 July, 2014 So with Lallana injured, Shaw huge and Rickie's normal slow start - why are we concerned about losing them (for £60m). ..my thoughts EXACTLY !
ART Posted 29 July, 2014 Posted 29 July, 2014 He was training with Zaha together. Now Zaha has been chosen to play the next game and look sent back to train with the reserves. Can see him being sent out on loan for the season. Doubt if he'll be worried on the money he's now being paid.
david in sweden Posted 29 July, 2014 Posted 29 July, 2014 Because they were our 3 best players and we're 100 times weaker without them. 1- yes. they were (argueably) ...some of our best players.... 2- NO-ONE is irreplaceable! .....and don't forget... they weren't always that good, and it took time for them to reach that standard.
John Boy Saint Posted 29 July, 2014 Posted 29 July, 2014 £120k per week 4-5 year deal over 4 years that's £24m just for sitting on your arse doing chuff all: at 19 where's the motivation!!??
tpbury Posted 29 July, 2014 Posted 29 July, 2014 Looks like he's had a night on the lash Lukry boy, it looks like you've been spending it before you've earned it. Should've spent another season with us.
SW5 SAINT Posted 29 July, 2014 Posted 29 July, 2014 So with Lallana injured, Shaw huge and Rickie's normal slow start - why are we concerned about losing them (for £60m). Quality….
Topcat Posted 29 July, 2014 Posted 29 July, 2014 Sadly not surprised having heard somethings about his lack of self-discipline. This may have been one sale made at the right time.
saint_ed Posted 29 July, 2014 Posted 29 July, 2014 £120k per week 4-5 year deal over 4 years that's £24m just for sitting on your arse doing chuff all: at 19 where's the motivation!!?? Where have you got £120k from?? He is on £50k pw.
VectisSaint Posted 29 July, 2014 Posted 29 July, 2014 Invest in Nandos, they must be doing a roaring trade In Moanchester.
Saint Without a Halo Posted 29 July, 2014 Posted 29 July, 2014 Looks like he's had a night on the lash He already has the Fergueson red nose too
doddisalegend Posted 29 July, 2014 Posted 29 July, 2014 Looks like he's had a night on the lash Maybe he finally got that threesome up all night ****ging twins takes it out of a lad!
mattsbignose Posted 29 July, 2014 Posted 29 July, 2014 Could be that because van Gaal likes to play wing backs, all the bulking up he has done is detrimental to that role and therefore more aerobic and cardiovascular fitness is important for it? I prefer the fact he has been partying and eating kebabs though. Maybe Evra gave him Ben Arfa's mobile as a parting gift...
Whitey Grandad Posted 29 July, 2014 Posted 29 July, 2014 He's not the brightest of lads. He's a footballer. That's only one level above a football fan who posts on an Internet forum.
Viking Warrior Posted 29 July, 2014 Posted 29 July, 2014 He's not even on the bench tonight for united next game in the states Oh dear what a brilliant start for Luke shaws united career
Batman Posted 29 July, 2014 Posted 29 July, 2014 He's not even on the bench tonight for united next game in the states Oh dear what a brilliant start for Luke shaws united career It's a friendly If pelle was not on the bench you would be frothing with rage had anyone here judged his abilities on that
suewhistle Posted 29 July, 2014 Posted 29 July, 2014 It's a friendly If pelle was not on the bench you would be frothing with rage had anyone here judged his abilities on that Don't take everything so seriously.. I'd take it as a bit of tongue in cheek needle...
John Boy Saint Posted 29 July, 2014 Posted 29 July, 2014 Where have you got £120k from?? He is on £50k pw. Do you honestly believe Jose was going go to talk to the press over a £50k per week wage demand upsetting the balance at Chelsea as much as he did? £100k + was the generally known tempting bag of sweets to lure him away. That photo of him looks like he has been getting it on with the girls The Sun said he had been bothering whilst at the World Cup
Red_No_7 Posted 30 July, 2014 Posted 30 July, 2014 luke shaw has just come on as a second half sub against inter milan for united...

pap Posted 30 July, 2014 Posted 30 July, 2014 Ouch. Van Gaal says that Shaw was "lucky" to play in a friendly last night. Only made it onto the pitch because of injury. http://www.theguardian.com/football/2014/jul/30/luke-shaw-manchester-united-fitness Enjoying life with the big boys, Luke?
richard Posted 30 July, 2014 Posted 30 July, 2014 Don't see what lvg has to gain by stating this stuff about Luke. Sounds like bad man management to me.
buctootim Posted 30 July, 2014 Posted 30 July, 2014 Don't see what lvg has to gain by stating this stuff about Luke. Sounds like bad man management to me. He admits himself he has a 'strong' personality. He's already crticised the US tour (when the main sponsor is Chevrolet) and ripped up the training pitches. You can see how he and Koeman might have fallen out.
Whitey Grandad Posted 30 July, 2014 Posted 30 July, 2014 Don't see what lvg has to gain by stating this stuff about Luke. Sounds like bad man management to me. Au contraire (but in Dutch), just keeping people in their place.
S-Clarke Posted 30 July, 2014 Posted 30 July, 2014 Van Gaal's tough man approach could easily backfire. That's all he's portraying in the media.
sadoldgit Posted 30 July, 2014 Posted 30 July, 2014 It's a friendly If pelle was not on the bench you would be frothing with rage had anyone here judged his abilities on that Touchy!!! He plays for Plastic United now, why are you so bothered?
ART Posted 30 July, 2014 Posted 30 July, 2014 SSN tweeted Luke's to be interviewed about being not fit. Now if anything will upset his new boss blabbering to the media especially on TV will. Silly boy!
Whitey Grandad Posted 30 July, 2014 Posted 30 July, 2014 Are they going to send him back as unfit for purpose?
Window Cleaner Posted 30 July, 2014 Posted 30 July, 2014 Are they going to send him back as unfit for purpose? Probably just extra MMA training for the training ground fights that I'm assured happen everywhere all of the time. Obviously not at Saints though because we've only heard of one and Osvaldo got shipped out for that.
Viking Warrior Posted 30 July, 2014 Posted 30 July, 2014 How can a player become so unfit especially when they have just come back from the World Cup Is this the reason why England failed . As they were not fit enough
Goatboy Posted 30 July, 2014 Posted 30 July, 2014 How can a player become so unfit especially when they have just come back from the World Cup Is this the reason why England failed . As they were not fit enough Not fit enough, not good enough, too busy signing Liverpool shirts, sexting playboy twins, patronising the poor children of Brazil. Take your pick.
Dr. Kucho Posted 30 July, 2014 Posted 30 July, 2014 How can a player become so unfit especially when they have just come back from the World Cup Is this the reason why England failed . As they were not fit enough Poor Luke underestimated how difficult the step up would be. Basically saying he has to get alot fitter to play for Manure. http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/28558745

Window Cleaner Posted 30 July, 2014 Posted 30 July, 2014 Still think that the transfer fee that we got for him was a fantastic job by someone or other. He will prove to the watching world in the near future that he isn't worth it. Our boards best action to date, unless of course the fee was written into his contract as was suggested earlier on, in that case good job whoever did that.
The9 Posted 30 July, 2014 Posted 30 July, 2014 Poor Luke underestimated how difficult the step up would be. Basically saying he has to get alot fitter to play for Manure. http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/28558745 The gist of it seems to be "he has to get a lot fitter to play wing back in this system" actually. Van Gaal's slapping down the teenager with the big price tag is classic man management as well, eradicate the ego and make him fight for his place, showing that no-one's bigger than the club AND that slacking off won't get him in the team. Though as they've flogged Evra I'm not sure what his fall back position is.

Chez Posted 30 July, 2014 Posted 30 July, 2014 Can see him being sent out on loan for the season. no chance what so ever.
