Be lovely if he came on in the last minute to deflect a corner into his own net off his ratty chin.

Prefer it to be off his Bo ll oks

Got to admit Lallana playing well tonight.

Incredibly soft goal though. Hart must be mortified. Beaten from 25 yards by a slowly trickling shot. Mind you, about as hard as Lallana ever hits a shot. Maybe Hart went to sleep waiting for it.

Hammers beat Spurs 1-0. Mixed feelings there, as they pull away from us :(, but they put a dent into the north London yobos' title chances. :D

City getting clobbered by Liverpool, and Stoke win, so we're down to 9th. :(

Arsenal also lose, great night for Leicester.

Man Utd for the title anyone?

arsenal's fighting mentality and never say die attitude will see them through - you can just see it in the group selfies.

Did anyone else hear carragher today re lallana ....

" typical, academy player, great technique but nothing else, lacks that cutting edge to play for a club like Liverpool, maybe it's the way the bread them in Southampton, look at Walcott, Chambers, the Ox and Bale" lol he implied we are all soft from Southampton. He also said he thought lallana would be gone in the summer, flatters to deceive while the consequential interview with lallana it was crystal clear the lad is well out of his depth ...

Carragher exhibiting the kind of condescending attitude that reinforces my complete dislike of LFC. I almost feel sorry for Lallana.

If I was spurs fan would be annoyed with Poch's selection tonight. Saving themselves for that powerhouse Villa at the weekend. Hope they win fck all

Sad to say, Lallana has been the best player on the pitch tonight. I think it's a direct consequence of shaving.

Finding some good form just in time for his return to St. Mary's.

Probably only a matter of time before he scores against us tbh.

United fans really not very impressed with Morgan. From RedCafe:

Has he actually done anything in this game?

What is the point in him?

If players are going to go past him so easy, we might as well bring on Carrick. At least Carrick will add a bit more composure to our game.

He's done nothing. Afraid of the ball and chasing shadows.

Harry potter and how morgan stole dads invisibility cloak.

He is complete and utter gash

Take note, Victor...

This result is of no surprise really. Not entirely sure why the media went all gushy over Utd after they'd beaten Shrewsbury and FCM comprehensively, not exactly the strongest of tests. They're still ****.

Clyne has had a very good game too.

Even Lovren has been less than awful

Lallana, it pains me to admit, has finally been showing the sort of form he had for us in the last couple of games.

He's been gone from us long enough now that I've lost interest in anything he does unless it's against us. The same goes for the others, with the sole exception of lambert.

Interesting that out of all the big name defectors of the last few years it seems that Dyer is the most Likely defector to be in line for a key trophy

.especially as Dyer didn't "defect " in the accepted sense of the word.

The club was in the hands of the accountants at that time (summer 2009) and they were selling off / cutting back ...wherever they could.

Dyer, McGoldrick and Surman were all " moved out " that summer, in order for the club to have the wherewithal to pay the staff / players during the close season.

the great injustice..... lay in the fact that the bankrupted Saints were prey to other clubs who paid only a fraction of their real worth in the transfer market.

Was pleased for both Dyer and Surman that they did get some fame / recognition in later years, but by rights they should have stayed at SMS.

Wonder what Morgan feels like now when he can't even make. 23 man squad for France so close to the finals and Man U may not even qualify for the European cup

Shame really as he was one of the more loyal

It seems that with increasing tv money the so called big clubs are not as nailed on favourites for the big trophies as they used to be and sitting on their benches no longer guarantees an international run out

Probably the same as a few Utd players, a burning hatred of Van Gaal and his "philosophy" that's ruining that club and it's players.

Probably not. Koeman repeatedly stresses 'the team', 'the system', 'good organisation', 'discipline' as reasons for success rather than individual skill or contribution. Morgan is still a very good player but does not fit into the system of play used by van Gaal.

Wrong place at the wrong time but he'll come good again be sure of that.

Dejan Lovren has left Twitter.

Guess he's found out what happens when you behave like a ***t towards the club that plucked you from obscurity. He'll be sold in the summer.

hardly plucked from obscurity, was he

Lallana is now benefitting from the old 'play for Liverpool and you are guaranteed to be in every England squad' rule, after a poor season but for the last 3 or 4 games, so I guess he can enjoy that gain from his move. What have him and Henderson done to start today over Vardy or Drinkwater?

Yeah because he was definitely ripping up The French league wasn't he. He was going nowhere in France

Either way, he was not plucked from obscurity

He won the league with Zagreb and played champions league with them. Moved to Lyon for about £6m, which is a lot for a French side that is not PSG. He played in Europe and won the cup with them before coming to saints and was an ever regular in the Croatian squad/team. In that time, clubs bigger than saints were always linked to him.

But yeah. Definitely "plucked from obscurity"
