Forget Poch , surely spurs facing fixture pile up is good news for us. Shame they got knocked out of the FA cup. I hope them and Liverpool go as far as they can in all the cups without winning them. Hopefully utd and Arsenal will have nice long FA cup runs with a couple of replays chucked in .

Why wouldn't we want our rivals for 4th risking injuries, burn out and suspensions by having to play more and more games.

Had the ref done his job properly Liverpool would be without Lucas and Henderson this weekend , with Gerrard having played 120 mins in midweek . I'll be cheering them on for a victory over Bolton after another gruelling 120 mins, before another draw next round at palace .

Sort of agree, but the way both clubs, Spurs in particular have spent their windfalls from selling their big stars, they both have big squads fairly well set for long cup runs.

I'm no tactical genius, but if I was in charge of a team playing against Spurs, I would put a man on Eriksen, particularly for the last 10 minutes. Take him out of the team and they would be down with Everton in the bottom half.

He clearly can't handle the pressure and expectation of playing for a 'big club', as found out at Lyon and now Liverpool. He was just right here, at a club exceeding expectations fitted with his game - no massive pressure or expectation on him and he could just perform. He still acted like a big headed **** when trying to get the move though, which will always leave an incredibly bitter taste.

Would we take him back for 5 million.......

Ramirez has been so lightweight. Has to go down as the most expensive flop ever as far as Saints are concerned. Really wanted the lad to do well at Hull just so we might stand a chance of selling him. Who would want him now. He just is not cut out for the Premiership. Hull by the way are a team staring relegation in the face, they were awful

Osvaldo was more of a flop without a doubt.

Liverpool Echo re Lovren for those who didn't have the time to click the link:

'His last start in any competition was at Bournemouth, where he was troubled continually by the Cherries’ Matt Ritchie. He was replaced by Sakho at half time in that game, and has barely been seen since'.

Now that's funny.

Sad to learn pressure from Jack Cork's missus was the real reason for him not signing a new contract and going to Swansea. :(

Anti-Saints agenda on the BBC as usual at the start of the Liverpool match.

They've done a little montage of the shock results of the fourth round, featuring the Man City, United and Chelsea upsets. But they seem to have forgotten to include that seismic shock of Southampton FC being knocked out by, err, another Premier League team. Strange as forum geniuses on here got very upset when that bombshell result wasn't considered as newsworthy as the others.

Why oh why oh why do they hate us so?

IS that Phil Neville's whiny voice assaulting me aurally? If so, I wish he would STFU as he is annoying.

Agree. At first I thought it was one of the Chuckle Brothers.
