angelman Posted 28 January, 2015 Posted 28 January, 2015 I thought away goals counted but apparently not and ET beckons. At least they've ****ing stopped singing "Oh When the Spurs"
Saint Charlie Posted 28 January, 2015 Posted 28 January, 2015 Eriksen will score again before the end of the 90. Surely.
Whitey Grandad Posted 28 January, 2015 Posted 28 January, 2015 I thought away goals counted but apparently not and ET beckons. At least they've ****ing stopped singing "Oh When the Spurs" They only count if it's still level at the end of ET.
doddisalegend Posted 28 January, 2015 Posted 28 January, 2015 Sheff Utd giving it a right go come on you blades.
Turkish Posted 28 January, 2015 Posted 28 January, 2015 I thought away goals counted but apparently not and ET beckons. At least they've ****ing stopped singing "Oh When the Spurs" They do at the end of extra time.
angelman Posted 28 January, 2015 Posted 28 January, 2015 They do at the end of extra time. Ah ha. Ta. Never understood that one. Seems a bit silly.
Whitey Grandad Posted 28 January, 2015 Posted 28 January, 2015 Eriksen will score again before the end of the 90. Surely. You were saying?
Turkish Posted 28 January, 2015 Posted 28 January, 2015 Eriksen will score again before the end of the 90. Surely. And so he did.
Saint Charlie Posted 28 January, 2015 Posted 28 January, 2015 Eriksen will score again before the end of the 90. Surely. He will.
angelman Posted 28 January, 2015 Posted 28 January, 2015 Eriksen will score again before the end of the 90. Surely. 88th
doddisalegend Posted 28 January, 2015 Posted 28 January, 2015 Eriksen will score again before the end of the 90. Surely. apparently so.....bugger
austsaint Posted 28 January, 2015 Posted 28 January, 2015 Eriksen will score again before the end of the 90. Surely. Any tips for the gallops?
Dark Munster Posted 28 January, 2015 Posted 28 January, 2015 How many times has that **** Eriksen scored in the ****ing 88th minute?
jawillwill Posted 28 January, 2015 Posted 28 January, 2015 Ah ha. Ta. Never understood that one. Seems a bit silly. I actually think it's one of the better rules. Seems a shame to lose a game because you drew, so may as well have away goals rule as a last resort.
Batman Posted 28 January, 2015 Posted 28 January, 2015 Poch on his way to wembley Good first season for him so far Fair play to Spurs. Score a few goal in the last few mins of games Like we used to under him
Whitey Grandad Posted 28 January, 2015 Posted 28 January, 2015 I actually think it's one of the better rules. Seems a shame to lose a game because you drew, so may as well have away goals rule as a last resort. Better than the old European way of tossing a coin.
Saint Charlie Posted 28 January, 2015 Posted 28 January, 2015 Poch on his way to wembley Good first season for him so far Navigated the early stages of the Europa League and also well in the race for fourth. Doing well, but we knew he would. He is a good Manager and players respect and want to play for him. Saints were interested in that Che Adams guy btw.
Dark Munster Posted 28 January, 2015 Posted 28 January, 2015 Take away those 88th minute winners and he'd be sacked by now. Anyway, hopefully Chelski will give them a jolly good rogering in the final (after an exhausting extra time), and they pick up a cartload of yellows and reds with it.

Bit you can't take away those goals
Saint_Tony Posted 28 January, 2015 Posted 28 January, 2015 Did we score many late goals under him though?
Turkish Posted 28 January, 2015 Posted 28 January, 2015 Poch on his way to wembley Good first season for him so far Fair play to Spurs. Score a few goal in the last few mins of games Like we used to under him Has it been? Are they any higher in the league than under villas Boas or Sherwood, both of those got sacked for being where they are in the league. Yes they've got to a cup final but we were told on here no one cares about this Mickey Mouse cup. He's done okay but hasn't exceed expectations by any means.
Whitey Grandad Posted 28 January, 2015 Posted 28 January, 2015 In case you were wondering... The final is Sunday 1st March at 16:00. Their away game at QPR set for 14:05 the same day will have to be re-arranged.
Saint Charlie Posted 28 January, 2015 Posted 28 January, 2015 Distraction of a cup final? Could be good for us. Hope they go far in the Europa too.

Yes they've got to a cup final but we were told on here no one cares about this Mickey Mouse cup. He's done okay but hasn't exceed expectations by any means. But you say a cup final is amazing. So you must agree that this is a very good season so far. Forget what others say
Whitey Grandad Posted 28 January, 2015 Posted 28 January, 2015 Distraction of a cup final? Could be good for us. Hope they go far in the Europa too. Yes indeed, just so long as they don't win any of them.
Sour Mash Posted 28 January, 2015 Posted 28 January, 2015 Has it been? Are they any higher in the league than under villas Boas or Sherwood, both of those got sacked for being where they are in the league. Yes they've got to a cup final but we were told on here no one cares about this Mickey Mouse cup. He's done okay but hasn't exceed expectations by any means. Exactly. Couple of key players keep getting them out of jail, I've seen a fair few of their games this season and the Chelsea match was the only one they looked really good in (great result to be fair).
Batman Posted 28 January, 2015 Posted 28 January, 2015 Exactly. Couple of key players keep getting them out of jail, I've seen a fair few of their games this season and the Chelsea match was the only one they looked really good in (great result to be fair). A major cup final. Awesome stuff if that was happening at saints.
Bucks Saint Posted 28 January, 2015 Posted 28 January, 2015 Gutted for the Blades. Chelsea to smash them in the final please
Sour Mash Posted 28 January, 2015 Posted 28 January, 2015 A major cup final. Awesome stuff if that was happening at saints. So Spurs are judged on what would be a success for Saints now?
Batman Posted 28 January, 2015 Posted 28 January, 2015 So Spurs are judged on what would be a success for Saints now? This season, I would say yes Both getting top four would be a simply brilliant season. (More so for us, granted) and a cup final is excellent.
Dark Munster Posted 28 January, 2015 Posted 28 January, 2015 Gutted for the Blades. Chelsea to smash them in the final please Yes, but after extra time please.
Sour Mash Posted 28 January, 2015 Posted 28 January, 2015 This season, I would say yes Both getting top four would be a simply brilliant season. (More so for us, granted) and a cup final is excellent. But if we'd finished 8th and got to a League Cup final we'd have been chuffed, no Spurs fan I know would have been happy with that.
Batman Posted 28 January, 2015 Posted 28 January, 2015 But if we'd finished 8th and got to a League Cup final we'd have been chuffed, no Spurs fan I know would have been happy with that. Ok. I was talking about the season as it evolves. They are well in the hunt for top 4. Look pretty strong in Europe and now have a cup final. Maybe they will finish 8th and win nothing. Then I would agree with you.
Turkish Posted 28 January, 2015 Posted 28 January, 2015 But you say a cup final is amazing. So you must agree that this is a very good season so far. Forget what others say Yes for a club like saints with only one major trophy in our history. The last two spurs managers got sacked for being 6th, yet you're saying he's doing a great job by being in exactly the same position. People say poch did a great job for us and You and I are amongst them for finishing 8th, yet if spurs finished 8th they'd be going nuts. That's the difference Brett.
Turkish Posted 28 January, 2015 Posted 28 January, 2015 This season, I would say yes Both getting top four would be a simply brilliant season. (More so for us, granted) and a cup final is excellent. Why are they? We were expected to be in a relegation fight and spurs were expected to challenge for the champions league. One is hugely exceeding expectations the other is just about where they have been for the last four or five years, a position which got their last two managers fired. Yet success for spurs and us should be judged as the same. Good one Brett
Batman Posted 28 January, 2015 Posted 28 January, 2015 Why are they? We were expected to go down and spurs were expected to challenge for the champions league. One is hugely exceeding expectations the other is just about where they have been for the last four or five years, a position which got their last two managers fired. Yet success for spurs and us should be judged as the same. Good one Brett  Lolololol

Why is getting to a League Cup final different to Spurs now then it would have been given their situation at the start of the season? You've lost me.
Turkish Posted 28 January, 2015 Posted 28 January, 2015 Why is getting to a League Cup final different to Spurs now then it would have been given their situation at the start of the season? You've lost me. I think he's lost himself to be fair.
Batman Posted 28 January, 2015 Posted 28 January, 2015 Why is getting to a League Cup final different to Spurs now then it would have been given their situation at the start of the season? You've lost me. If I have lost you. Don't worry about it.
Turkish Posted 28 January, 2015 Posted 28 January, 2015 If I have lost you. Don't worry about it. Its quite simple, you think taking over from a sacked mangers of a team that finished 6th and getting them to 6th place is doing a great job. You're a card Brett I give you that
SaintTex Posted 28 January, 2015 Posted 28 January, 2015 Poch on his way to wembley Good first season for him so farok. Tottenham - 22 matches | 2013/14 : 5th place - 43 points - 3 GD 22 matches | 2014/15 : 6th place - 37 points - 2 GD
CB Fry Posted 28 January, 2015 Posted 28 January, 2015 Batman's "everyone's a hypocrite" routine going well again, then. In other news, Saints and Spurs are different clubs with different expectations. Fancy that.
Batman Posted 28 January, 2015 Posted 28 January, 2015 Its quite simple, you think taking over from a sacked mangers of a team that finished 6th to being in 6th place is doing a great job. You're a card Brett I give you that A card? Nice one baldy
Turkish Posted 28 January, 2015 Posted 28 January, 2015 A card? Nice one baldy Get back to the cleaning the saucepans Casey.
Batman Posted 28 January, 2015 Posted 28 January, 2015 Get back to the cleaning the saucepans Casey. Another classic
Turkish Posted 28 January, 2015 Posted 28 January, 2015 Another classic Just like your baldy gag. Comedy gold Brett, comedy gold.
