Crazy Diamond Posted 19 December, 2014 Posted 19 December, 2014 I did a search on Twitter for Lovren after he was substituted against the bucket rattlers... Amazing reaction. Never seen so many people happy to have their own player injured!
Saints foreva Posted 19 December, 2014 Posted 19 December, 2014 Best reactions on Twitter are just after they've conceded a goal. He gets slaughtered even when he isn't at fault for them.
aintforever Posted 19 December, 2014 Posted 19 December, 2014 After getting so much money this summer it is easy to forget that Lovren is Liverpool's 4th most expensive signing ever. He cost the same as Torres and only a couple of mill less than Saurez. No wonder the scousers are p!ssed off.
Dark Munster Posted 19 December, 2014 Posted 19 December, 2014 After our 5 successive defeats, Liverhampton (and Spurs) into the semi finals, and remembering what we paid for Osvaldo, Gaston, Mayuka, Long and Mane, my smugness is beginning to wear off.

John W Henry is not a poor man, and given how he made his absolute killing on Wall Street, not a stupid man either. I fail to feel sorry for him or them.

People too quickly get carried away or dive into despair. As we've seen, a lot can change in a week in football.

Graffito Posted 19 December, 2014 Posted 19 December, 2014 “It is important because the academy is always the heart of any club. It was one of the main reasons I decided to come here. The opportunity to work with this club’s academy was fantastic. I think it is the best in England, maybe even Europe." So he didn't go there for the money then. Seems he may have been told to work with what he's got, including the rehabilitation of Adebayor.

OldNick Posted 20 December, 2014 Posted 20 December, 2014 I do think Poch was more open to playing the youngsters than most other managers we have had. The majority of our young players co ing through look so sleight, wheras the Spurs and Arsenal ones look big lads. At the end of the day you can have the best pitches and buildings in the world but the most important thing is the talent spotters and the coaches. I do hope we have the staff still to go with the buildings. Perhaps time for. The return of Huw Jennings?

We also employ the business methodology of succession planning.
ART Posted 20 December, 2014 Posted 20 December, 2014 Danny fox sporting a nice beard these days I think it's worth mentioning that Danny has dyed his beard to bring awareness of CYSTIC FIBROSIS, an extremely worthy cause that he supports.
Window Cleaner Posted 21 December, 2014 Posted 21 December, 2014 Lovren not in squad today Injured midweek apparently.
Batman Posted 21 December, 2014 Posted 21 December, 2014 I can't see how liverpool can keep a clean sheet today
Window Cleaner Posted 21 December, 2014 Posted 21 December, 2014 I can't see how liverpool can keep a clean sheet today I foresee a big upset...then again I don't like Arsenal much.
angelman Posted 21 December, 2014 Posted 21 December, 2014 Don't particularly like Arsenal, but Liverpool at home...has to be an Arsenal win, even though a draw would suit us better.
Batman Posted 21 December, 2014 Posted 21 December, 2014 LOL 1-1 in 1st half injury time Arsenal have been terrible too
Pastor Patrón Posted 21 December, 2014 Posted 21 December, 2014 6 points above the relegation zone lmao, this never gets old
svetigpung Posted 21 December, 2014 Posted 21 December, 2014 1 - 2 to the arse...I'm hoping for an equaliser in the last 10mins. Dont want Rogers to get sacked before xmas. or do we? Lambert warming up. Time for his usual desperate appearance
Saint_clark Posted 21 December, 2014 Posted 21 December, 2014 Left work at 1-0, get home at 1-2. Many laughs were had.
Pastor Patrón Posted 21 December, 2014 Posted 21 December, 2014 I've changed my mind about Lambert tbh, I'm not his biggest fan but I'd kinda like him back in January.
Saint_clark Posted 21 December, 2014 Posted 21 December, 2014 Players haven't got a clue what Rodgers wants from them with that substitution.
whelk Posted 21 December, 2014 Posted 21 December, 2014 Lallana playing 90mins twice in 5 days. Stamina
shurlock Posted 21 December, 2014 Posted 21 December, 2014 Happy with that - Chambers outmuscled and outjumped for the goal too.
svetigpung Posted 21 December, 2014 Posted 21 December, 2014 YEP 2 - 2 and we can thank Chambers for his non-marking of their most dangerous player at set pieces. And only 1 point to the wengar boys
OldNick Posted 21 December, 2014 Posted 21 December, 2014 The Liverpool apologists on Sky next. Heroic draw according to the commentator, they were only down to 10 men for about 5 minutes
CB Saint Posted 21 December, 2014 Posted 21 December, 2014 Adam sounds gutted - hahahahahahahahahahaha
OldNick Posted 21 December, 2014 Posted 21 December, 2014 Now Jamie Redknapp on ' travesty if they lost,' ' fantastic performance etc etc
lickierambert Posted 21 December, 2014 Posted 21 December, 2014 That must be the 4th or 5th time Chambers has been beaten in the air for a goal this year. The first goal at Stoke was embarrassing.
hasper57saint Posted 21 December, 2014 Posted 21 December, 2014 The Liverpool apologists on Sky next. Heroic draw according to the commentator, they were only down to 10 men for about 5 minutes Anyone listen to five live earlier? Yuk! I almost vomited out of my ears with that drivel from Liverhampton fans so I turned it off after threemintes.
Bucks Saint Posted 21 December, 2014 Posted 21 December, 2014 "Liverpool in shape for top 4". Seriously. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/30570457
angelman Posted 21 December, 2014 Posted 21 December, 2014 They might - they've got quite a nice run now. Burnley A Swansea H Leicester H Sunderland A Villa A Wet Spam H Everton A Spurs H Saints A
igsey Posted 21 December, 2014 Posted 21 December, 2014 They might - they've got quite a nice run now. Burnley A Swansea H Leicester H Sunderland A Villa A Wet Spam H Everton A Spurs H Saints A Watch them get about 6 points from that lot. Please, Santa.
whelk Posted 21 December, 2014 Posted 21 December, 2014 Well in 2 games time they will have all 19 teams to play again, as will we, as will every team in the division. So the run of games won't avoid anyone
Lighthouse Posted 21 December, 2014 Posted 21 December, 2014 Watch them get about 6 points from that lot. Please, Santa. Defeat at Burnley would leave just 4 points between the 2 sides. Unlikely but would be a nice Boxing Day present if it happened.
Wes Tender Posted 21 December, 2014 Posted 21 December, 2014 They might - they've got quite a nice run now. Burnley A Swansea H Leicester H Sunderland A Villa A Wet Spam H Everton A Spurs H Saints A Is it a nice run? Half of those teams are above them in the table currently. As the hoary old chestnut goes, the table doesn't lie.
lickierambert Posted 21 December, 2014 Posted 21 December, 2014 They might - they've got quite a nice run now. Burnley A Swansea H Leicester H Sunderland A Villa A Wet Spam H Everton A Spurs H Saints A Given that 4th place is likely to be around 66 points, Liverpool would have to do something like 13 wins, 4 draws, 4 defeats to get to that mark. There's not much room for a slip up in those games if they're to do it

Danbert Posted 25 December, 2014 Posted 25 December, 2014 Chambers has "hit the wall" according to Wenger, and can't bare the weight of responsibility.
Bucks Saint Posted 25 December, 2014 Posted 25 December, 2014 Chambers has "hit the wall" according to Wenger, and can't bare the weight of responsibility. Playing him in a position he never played in before he cost £16m just might be connected
