austsaint Posted 12 December, 2014 Share Posted 12 December, 2014 He is completely unplayable where he is currently sat. Has broken ribs apparently (Lallana) - hence the no show v Basel. I'm fairly confident his career will steadily decline from this point, even if his pockets will be much the healthier.

Cant imagine why they picked this one http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/30447755 Obvious TV game as soon as the balls came out. Arse/Hull is a repeat of the final but beyond that not a particularly interesting fixture.

FloridaMarlin Posted 12 December, 2014 Share Posted 12 December, 2014 Liverpool midfielder Adam Lallana, 26, is willing to play with two broken ribs to face fierce rivals Manchester United on Sunday (BBC Sport). Let's hope he doesn't score. It might be too painful for him to pat the badge.

Bad Wolf Posted 12 December, 2014 Share Posted 12 December, 2014 Just me that wouldn't take him back? (apart from maybe on a free with a pay cut as a squad player). Not just because of the way he left us but there's the fact he's now been found out. I'd also not put him in the team ahead of Fonte, Gardos, Alderwerield or Yoshida. Maybe that's a bit of angry bias showing through though but he really isn't THAT good, I saw an article the other day which claimed he was our most error prone defender last season and with seeing how he's played for Liverpool so far, for me I'd rather have our first choice 4 CB's there than him. Like I said, maybe I'm being a bit biased.
Rasiak-9- Posted 12 December, 2014 Share Posted 12 December, 2014 I'd love to take him back and genuinely believe he's an absolutely class defender who's simply going through a rough patch; but after the way he left its not easy. Tbh it wouldn't surprise me if he stayed there and came good in the end.

david in sweden Posted 13 December, 2014 Share Posted 13 December, 2014 He will be at Boscombe next season when they are promoted to PL, returning to his spiritual home (on loan) now there's a thought...(and not so crazy)....but could B'mouth really afford his salary?. Window Cleaner Posted 13 December, 2014 Share Posted 13 December, 2014 (edited) I bet Liverpool can't wait for Origi to return from his loan spell at Lille, he'll fit straight in.. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2871340/Divock-Origi-BOOED-Lille-fans-Liverpool-loanee-s-goal-drought-extends-923-minutes.html Unsurprising, he's a young idiot who should be at Liverpool already, what is the point of selling a player and then keeping hold of him for a year, never works out, player's thought are always elsewhere, mind you that said Lille are garbage this season, probably because they've sold everyone to balance the books. Kalou for instance, their place in the league last season was entirely dependant on his performance, no money to pay him, no unbalanced books allowed in Ligue 1 so they sold him to Hertha. It's what happens in french football, Qatar St Germain excepted. Edited 13 December, 2014 by Window Cleaner

Lord Duckhunter Posted 14 December, 2014 Share Posted 14 December, 2014 Lallana poor defensively, he used tho do that with us during our first season back up. He got back in to double up on the wide man, but doesn't actually affect the play. Seconds earlier he played a great ball for Sterling to miss a sitter. That's football lol. Tactical genius Brenda's keeper dives out the way. Good call Bren.
