I feel liverpool will pick up 3 wins in the next 3 games in the premier league. It is important that we win a couple of the next 3, as I do not want them closing the gap!

Haha

Talksport are going through so,e of Brendan's quotes that are biting him on the arse

One we have missed was that last season he said in a presser (early on) that defending is the easy part of the game

Posted

"It was my first start in the Champions League and it was good to score. We are devastated about the goal at the end but it was about the performance today - win, lose or draw - and the performance was better. We have answered some of our critics about Sunday against Crystal Palace. It was about the win and we almost got it. Now we have to go for an even better performance on Saturday."

Scouse slang time.

These fairies would be described as "dead nesh".

You all know that scousers use "dead" to mean "very".

"Nesh" means susceptible to cold temperatures.

F××king meffs.

I love meff as an insult.

My first year was quite an education.

My absolute favourite bit of scouse is not dialect at all; simply accent.

When the missus wants her own way, she says "I'll be friend-ly".

Never fails ☺

Some good news for Liverpool....

Stoke City's plans for Saturday's game at Liverpool have been hit by a virus sweeping the squad. Goalkeeper Asmir Begovic, 27 and defender Geoff Cameron, 29, missed training, while full-back Phil Bardsley, 29, was sent home after also feeling ill.

"We're struggling at the moment with a little bit of a virus," said manager Mark Hughes. "It started with the Under-21s and we've had to close down their operation really and keep everyone away from the first team.

"Unfortunately, there's been a little bit of sickness in the senior squad this morning and two or three players have been sent back home."

Nice bit about José

Dejan Lovren

Where has the form gone that saw him star for Southampton? Maybe Jose Fonte deserves more recognition. Nothing like a £20m defender, Lovren has played 17 games but rarely looked assured. Too often a diver into tackles, when standing off would pay dividends.

Levy didn't look happy either, probably thinking about whether he can get away with poaching Southampton's security staff. Is there anything about that club that works like it should?

Poch didn't look too happy at the final whistle despite Spurs qualifying. Bang goes his holiday breaks.

Good. As with most of their Europa "campaign" they won, again, but were disjointed, unimaginative, gave the ball away etc etc. Last night was against the worst team in the already poor group. Oh for them to play someone decent soon

How about Chelsea at the Bridge in 5 days

Pity, Tadic would have cut him to pieces and our defence would have had an easier day because of his crap crossing.
Over the last 2 or so seasons, how many players cut Shaw to pieces?

Would be hilarious if they beat Basel 1-0 and at the same time Madrid "rest" some players and lose 3-0 to Ludogorets...

Not that hilarious, as Liverhampton would still go through on their head-to-head record with Ludogorets.

This is a clip of the King of all Saints Defectors from way back in 1987. First time I've ever seen it after The Sports Bar announced their own cover to be released to raise cash for the Great Ormond Children's Hospital. Haven't stopped p i ss ing myself laughing

He should have been more honest.

I owe a lot to SFC and the academy, as they got me to a standard that allowed me to leave for a big club (at the first opportunity so as not to waste any time) where I can earn so much more money than I ever would be able to at Southampton and also play CL. But now, Saints are in the past and it's only Arsenal that I have any feelings for.

You ever think he would say that !!! :)

Didn't now he was at the tractor boys ..

He went there on loan from us years ago and didn't get a single game, in fact he got sent off in his single reserves appearance for handling the ball outside the area.

Gerrard on the bench and Lambert starts. Free kick and penalty duty for Rickie?

In the 3 games that SRL has started in he has been involved in all 4 goals they have scored.

Scored at palace, scored the 1st and good hold up and link play set Sterling off on the run that led to the 2nd goal at Ludo, and hit crossbar from which Johnson scored the rebound.

Makes the 16 mill they spunked on Buyatelly look nearly as bad an investment as lovren's 20 Mill :D

i saw the Liverpool game yesterday on the MOTD, and felt sorry for SRL, it looked like the other kids weren't being nice and passing the ball to him, ie as if he shouldn't be in the team.... barely had any touches of the ball.

And the key suspect was Sterling, and he looked a ****, don't like him, selfish player

Bad day for us, good day for the defectors.

Liverpool, Spurs, Arsenal and Manchester United all winning-

And to top it off- Dani Osvaldo scored for Inter today lol (though Inter lost anyway)
