angelman Posted 26 November, 2014 Posted 26 November, 2014 Problem with Cech is the £7m price tag given his age. Boruc would be peanuts by comparison.
farawaysaint Posted 26 November, 2014 Posted 26 November, 2014 Problem with Cech is the £7m price tag given his age. Boruc would be peanuts by comparison. I think a fair few Scousers would have a fit if they signed a keeper who has been on loan in the Champ as their first choice (I'm aware Boruc is quality but you know it would happen).
SaintTex Posted 26 November, 2014 Posted 26 November, 2014 I think a fair few Scousers would have a fit if they signed a keeper who has been on loan in the Champ as their first choice (I'm aware Boruc is quality but you know it would happen).the bigger fit from them would be bringing in another player from Southampton. I think the Scousers have soured on the Saint pipeline to Liverpool.
david in sweden Posted 26 November, 2014 Posted 26 November, 2014 Looks like poch is having to do a few "extra jobs" for Levy to keep his job.......... http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-30195756 Firefighters were called to the blaze at Archway Sheet Metal Works, on Paxton Road, Tottenham, at around 05:00 GMT. The factory site is just yards from Spurs' White Hart Lane ground . The family-run firm is situated on the final piece of land the club has been trying to acquire to start the redevelopment of its stadium. "An investigation has been launched into the cause of the fire," a Scotland Yard spokesman said. "At this early stage the fire is being treated as suspicious." uh huh ?....trying to burn down White Hart Lane ...and claim the insurance money?......
david in sweden Posted 26 November, 2014 Posted 26 November, 2014 Pray don't sack Brenda! He's doing swell! absolutely --please don't sack him.....I enjoy watching Liver fool, it's the best comedy show on TV.......
buctootim Posted 26 November, 2014 Posted 26 November, 2014 uh huh ?....trying to burn down White Hart Lane ...and claim the insurance money?...... Er no. Shift a stubborn tenant who is blocking the redevelopment.
Wrensup Posted 26 November, 2014 Posted 26 November, 2014 Problem with Cech is the £7m price tag given his age. Boruc would be peanuts by comparison. 7 million seems about right for me, hes still class and only 32, got another 5 years at least!
david in sweden Posted 26 November, 2014 Posted 26 November, 2014 (edited) Er no. Shift a stubborn tenant who is blocking the redevelopment. oh I see., but surely if it was " an accident ".....perhaps a short circuit?.... or someone left some equipment turned on after they went home? ....strange that the fire didn't start till 5 am, eh? Edited 26 November, 2014 by david in sweden
Batman Posted 26 November, 2014 Posted 26 November, 2014 Mignolet is getting a load of stick. Would Boruc suit them better? no.
angelman Posted 26 November, 2014 Posted 26 November, 2014 7 million seems about right for me, hes still class and only 32, got another 5 years at least! I'm surprised. I should have checked how old he was as the way he has been "discarded" by Chelsea I thought he must have been about 4 years older.
angelman Posted 26 November, 2014 Posted 26 November, 2014 no. Agree, now that I know Cech is "only" 32.
the saint in winchester Posted 26 November, 2014 Posted 26 November, 2014 I missed this little gem before. Just seen it. Sky Sports understands Portsmouth are set to sign Preston North End winger Lee Holmes on loan. Judas!!! And I doubt Pompey can even afford 30 pieces of silver!
doddisalegend Posted 26 November, 2014 Posted 26 November, 2014 See Lambert is starting in the CL tonight fair play to him..............Lovern and Lallana are on the bench though:lol: Liverpool: Mignolet, Manquillo, Skrtel, Toure, Johnson, Lucas, Gerrard, Allen, Henderson, Sterling, Lambert. Subs: Jones, Lovren, Moreno, Coutinho, Can, Borini, Lallana.
Lighthouse Posted 26 November, 2014 Posted 26 November, 2014 Shame Lucas is playing, he might actually make them good. Looks like it took Lovren all of 3 months to get dropped from the first team. Liverpool have got one expensive bench. In other news Chambers gets to spend this evening keeping Grosskreutz and Immobile company. Live on Sky 1 for those who are interested.
doddisalegend Posted 26 November, 2014 Posted 26 November, 2014 Do we want a Liverpool win? eerrrrrr no. I'd like Rickie to score a hat trick but Liverpool to concede four........
Lighthouse Posted 26 November, 2014 Posted 26 November, 2014 Do we want a Liverpool win? Is the Pope Buddhist?
Mikey88 Posted 26 November, 2014 Posted 26 November, 2014 Do we want a Liverpool win? I want whatever result that means they are most likely to finish 3rd and in the Europa league
Shroppie Posted 26 November, 2014 Posted 26 November, 2014 See Lambert is starting in the CL tonight fair play to him..............Lovern and Lallana are on the bench though:lol: Liverpool: Mignolet, Manquillo, Skrtel, Toure, Johnson, Lucas, Gerrard, Allen, Henderson, Sterling, Lambert. Subs: Jones, Lovren, Moreno, Coutinho, Can, Borini, Lallana. Yep. The main reason Lallana and Lovren left, another big night of European football! Err....... Ironic that only Ricky, who I doubt expected to get any CL starts is the only leaver starting. C'est la vie
angelman Posted 26 November, 2014 Posted 26 November, 2014 ****. Wanted to see Lovren really **** it up. u
doddisalegend Posted 26 November, 2014 Posted 26 November, 2014 whoops how **** have Liverpool become
Lighthouse Posted 26 November, 2014 Posted 26 November, 2014 ****. Wanted to see Lovren really **** it up. u Baby Lovren will be properly upset on Instagram tonight.
saint lard Posted 26 November, 2014 Posted 26 November, 2014 Liverpool defending even worse without Lovren....didn't think I would say that. Really feel sorry for Lambert on his Scouse venture......the other two can do one. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
benjii Posted 26 November, 2014 Posted 26 November, 2014 Rogers, Lovren, spade face, have some of that you ****s.
angelman Posted 26 November, 2014 Posted 26 November, 2014 For those who missed it....http://gfycat.com/MiserableImmediateHawk
doddisalegend Posted 26 November, 2014 Posted 26 November, 2014 Lambert scores in the Champions league ....good for him
Bucks Saint Posted 26 November, 2014 Posted 26 November, 2014 Great Rickie has scored, so now I am happy for them lose to 5-1
Jimmy_D Posted 26 November, 2014 Posted 26 November, 2014 He's scored for Liverpool in the Champion's League... Lambert could probably retire tomorrow and be happy with his career now.
nta786 Posted 26 November, 2014 Posted 26 November, 2014 He's scored for Liverpool in the Champion's League... Lambert could probably retire tomorrow and be happy with his career now. shame it didn't work out for him in the world cup.
Jimmy_D Posted 26 November, 2014 Posted 26 November, 2014 shame it didn't work out for him in the world cup. True, a World Cup goal would have been amazing. Being the only England player to score with his first touch for England, and a winning goal against Scotland at that, it goes some way to making up for that I'd wager.
hypochondriac Posted 26 November, 2014 Posted 26 November, 2014 Liverpool winning bollix I'm pleased. Keeps Rodgers in a job and stretches their squad.
Saints foreva Posted 26 November, 2014 Posted 26 November, 2014 I'm pleased. Keeps Rodgers in a job and stretches their squad. This. Hope they make it through to the knockout stages, they would be the weakest side left.
doddisalegend Posted 26 November, 2014 Posted 26 November, 2014 I'm pleased. Keeps Rodgers in a job and stretches their squad. yeah but think of the days of news coverage we will have to suffer about how Liverpool have turned a corner and are now good again......
lickierambert Posted 26 November, 2014 Posted 26 November, 2014 yeah but think of the days of news coverage we will have to suffer about how Liverpool have turned a corner and are now good again...... Good. Let them get complacent. The worst thing for us would be Liverpool to finish 4th in their CL group
hypochondriac Posted 26 November, 2014 Posted 26 November, 2014 yeah but think of the days of news coverage we will have to suffer about how Liverpool have turned a corner and are now good again...... Even better! False dawns are great and make the landing bumpier (look at pompey)
melmacian_saint Posted 26 November, 2014 Posted 26 November, 2014 Come on it's not like winning in Bulgaria is a massive achievement.
angelman Posted 26 November, 2014 Posted 26 November, 2014 This. Hope they make it through to the knockout stages, they would be the weakest side left. Europa League would be better.
doddisalegend Posted 26 November, 2014 Posted 26 November, 2014 Come on it's not like winning in Bulgaria is a massive achievement. Especially when your drawing....... Ludogrets equalize
angelman Posted 26 November, 2014 Posted 26 November, 2014 Surprised they did tbh what with 2 buses parked in the box.
svetigpung Posted 26 November, 2014 Posted 26 November, 2014 Dont reckon they will beat Badel at Anfield. Draw most likely. Get boed off at home. And hen they end up third, yes? Lovren & Adam , living the dream!
Shroppie Posted 26 November, 2014 Posted 26 November, 2014 Dont reckon they will beat Badel at Anfield. Draw most likely. Get boed off at home. And hen they end up third, yes? Lovren & Adam , living the dream! That's about it. Didn't even get on the pitch. Pleased for Ricky though, played well.
Goatboy Posted 26 November, 2014 Posted 26 November, 2014 Liverpool have Stoke, Sunderland and Leicester before Basel. Lose those three and Brenda might be out of a job by then.
