Defectors Watch

Looks as though we well and truely mugged Arsenal over by getting 16million for Chambers - is there a slower right back in the Premier League? He got a complete roasting today against Swansea - still, Hodgson will probably pick him for England ahead of Nathaniel Clyne. Hope he plays right back against us as I can see Mane tearing him a new one!

And I didn't think the weekend could get any better. I feel all warm inside. Bad luck Lovren you total tool. José in 10 times the player you are.

Let's have a caption competition...

...and on Tuesday, I'll be playing against Real Madrid at the Bernebeu as we attempt to win this again.

Or

This is what I could have won had I stayed at Southampton. :-(

He also had a brilliant game last week. He will be England's first choice cb in 3 or 4 years assuming Roy doesn't ruin him. I'm all for schaudenfreude but Chambers is (like Shaw) a real talent that will come good for certain.

Wtf? Clyne in a different league to chambers.

From a saints point of view, I'd rather Chambers played

While it would keep him clear of injury, but I feel a sense of pride seeing Saints players playing for England. However the main reason I want to see him playing is because constantly being overlooked by Woy in favour of a (currently) inferior right back could affect his confidence and morale. Clyne's a pro, so that shouldn't happen, but I'd still rather see him playing.

This is PURE GOLD.

Karma can take a while to manifest itself but I do believe we are blessed and something or someone in a higher place is looking out for us.

What goes around usually comes around.

Yeah, it's probably why the Ebola outbreak has happened. Sky fairies have been too busy watching the EPL and rooting for us to help the rest of the world.

Latest liverpool view on lovren from about halfway down on that page (from "he really is a poor centre back" onwards)

They really aren't happy with him are they?

Lovren has to be in the stands... I don't even want him on the bench... He is worse than some of the defenders I see at my local park... He is worthless!!

Never in the history of association football has there ever been such overwhelming dominance in an individual battle on the field of play as we saw today between Jefferson Antonio Montero Vite and Callum Chambers. From this day forth, those on the receiving end of such embarrassment shall be know as having been 'Monteroed' in honour of the Ecuadorian.
