farawaysaint Posted 7 November, 2014 Posted 7 November, 2014 They reckon we only got £10m for Lovren instead of the £20m usually touted Lovren himself said they offered twice what we payed for him (i.e at least 16mill).
pap Posted 7 November, 2014 Posted 7 November, 2014 Have absolutely no sympathy for the human blob after he said this in the summer. S-Clarke Posted 7 November, 2014 Posted 7 November, 2014 Adam Lallana: I’m sure there will be a bit of banter and jeering, but I hope I get a bit of a warm reception as well. He's going to be in for a shock. My dad and I are Everton fans Jesus christ, he's priceless.
pap Posted 7 November, 2014 Posted 7 November, 2014 Adam Lallana: He's going to be in for a shock. Indeed. Personally I'm going in the blood of a freshly slaughtered animal. Welcome to Hell, Ads. It ain't like you left it.
S-Clarke Posted 7 November, 2014 Posted 7 November, 2014 Dejan has settled in well after playing with him last season. Oh my, he's a bit of a clueless one.
adrian lord Posted 7 November, 2014 Author Posted 7 November, 2014 I missed that disgraceful quote from Rogers. He's looking sillier by the game. Sacked by end 2016 IMO.
derry Posted 7 November, 2014 Posted 7 November, 2014 You inspire me, CC What the **** couldn't see because of his arrogance was that he was paying way over the odds for decent players. Not the world class players he thought he was getting. He sold his world class player brought in decent players who haven't gelled and built a team that is worse, whilst Saints knew they could replace decent players.
Convict Colony Posted 7 November, 2014 Posted 7 November, 2014 haha yeah couldn't find it verbatim but everyone should cheer for chelsea on the weekend cos he is a massive c.o.c.k

This is a term that Rogers should investigate...a little late now admittedly. It should be pointed out to him that this term is well known to Southampton...even a current buzz-word/term: Magic Ingredient
Baird of the land Posted 7 November, 2014 Posted 7 November, 2014 See Johnno Quick won player of the month at league one level. Didn't expect to ever see that.
doddisalegend Posted 7 November, 2014 Posted 7 November, 2014 See Johnno Quick won player of the month at league one level. Didn't expect to ever see that. Especially when Lee Barnard has been loaned out by Southend to Stevenage

the_emu Posted 7 November, 2014 Posted 7 November, 2014 On Bale... I don’t talk to him too often now — I’ll have a chat with him when we play against each other That will be never again then.

Convict Colony Posted 7 November, 2014 Posted 7 November, 2014 Glad I was able to remind so many people what an odious c.u.n.t Rodgers was during the summer which hopefully will balance the platitudes for when he gets sacked eventually. Karma is a ***** Brendan and I hope it's name is Jose

Karma is a ***** Brendan and I hope it's name is Jose It may not be particularly likely but if we can beat Manchester City the same week Bayern Munich knocks they out of the group phase of the Champions League, maybe we can get Pelligrini fired. Sure he is not as personally annoying to us as Rodgers, but still a worthy goal.

OldNick Posted 8 November, 2014 Posted 8 November, 2014 Adam Lallana: He's going to be in for a shock. Jesus christ, he's priceless.funny that, when I told people on here he was an Everton fan I was shouted down by some who said they knew him and said he was a Liverpool fan. He used to tell the staff at SMS he was an Everton fan, but mysteriously became a Red when it suited.
svetigpung Posted 8 November, 2014 Posted 8 November, 2014 Saido Berahino prepared to move to a bigger club to fulfill his dreams. Didn't take so long after his england call-up (were talking days here) to be convinced he MUST be playing for a CL cub asap. This all sounds familiar to us. But what absolute bu11sh1t !
ericofarabia Posted 8 November, 2014 Posted 8 November, 2014 Pellegrini actually seems ok. No joy in him getting the boot. Except for the fact that his team are a cheating diving penalty seeking bunch of gits. Main culprits being Dzeko and Toure who go down like a sack of sh!te at the slightest challenge, and go crying like big girls to the ref. Virtually every match report for Citeh games includes the fact that they had several penalty appeals turned down. For a team with so many talented players it is a shame they resort to cheating. One of the most pathetic things I've ever seen on a football pitch was Toure complaining to the ref for ages after a challenge by a mere wisp of a lad in JWP. He was in tears at the perceived injustice of being tackled by a boy half his size.

Danbert Posted 8 November, 2014 Posted 8 November, 2014 Don't worry about SRL if this came to pass, pretty sure any replacement would utilise him more than Brenda does. SRL was a great player for us, but people seem to forget how many on here were slagging off his perfomances last year. He's past it, and no sensible Liverpool manager is going to give him a run in the side. .
doddisalegend Posted 8 November, 2014 Posted 8 November, 2014 (edited) SRL was a great player for us, but people seem to forget how many on here were slagging off his perfomances last year. He's past it, and no sensible Liverpool manager is going to give him a run in the side. . 13 goals last season, in the top flight, playing in a team not set up to play to his strengths is hardly passed it. There a lot of sides in the lower half of the PL for who Lambert would be an asset. Liverpool buying him was bizarre, and the wrong move for him based on his heart instead of his head, but he could still do a good job for a team like stoke, Sunderland, Burnley or Newcastle I reckon. alpine_saint Posted 8 November, 2014 Posted 8 November, 2014 Latest musing from Chris Waddle, watching Scousehampton vs Chelski : "Dejan Lovren is having an absolute nightmare. If we're talking about changes Liverpool might make then Brendan Rodgers has to be looking at Kolo Toure coming on. Last week at St James' Park Lovren was very poor as well. Today he has been all over the shop. His decision making has been very poor. You can see why Liverpool leak goals."
farawaysaint Posted 8 November, 2014 Posted 8 November, 2014 (edited) RAWK bits and bobs: Lovren is terrible Gerrard and Lovren were woeful. Lovren, same old level of performance we're accustomed to. Lovren - can't defend him any longer. Around 56min Costa just made him his *****. Well, he did that the entire game, didn't he? I'd prefer to see Kolo - hell I'd prefer to see Enrique as a CB at this point. Lovren and Henderson... no words. And an honorary mention to Lallana for his amazing Chelsea performance. Way to warm the bench buddy, good job! That also marks Liverpool's 5th defeat this year after losing only 6 in the entirety of last season. Edited 8 November, 2014 by farawaysaint
itchen Posted 8 November, 2014 Posted 8 November, 2014 From the Guardian's match report: Balotelli was at his ineffectual worst and Rodgers surely made a mistake selecting Dejan Lovren when Kolo Touré had excelled in the Bernabéu. Lovren, at £20m, increasingly looks like a dismal piece of business on Liverpool’s part. He was signed to bring some leadership to the Liverpool defence but there was absolutely none.

Convict Colony Posted 8 November, 2014 Posted 8 November, 2014 hahahahah rodgers is getting it in the RAWK forum tonight Maybe someone should post this as reason why Lovren didn't play against Real Madrid to his missus instagram account. "Don't think he should be blamed for buying Balotelli, but the decision to sign Dejan Lovren, our worst buy by some distance, falls squarely on his shoulders." It seems you do walk alone if your dejan lovren hahahaha
Convict Colony Posted 8 November, 2014 Posted 8 November, 2014 Good to see Rodgers ego mania has extended to him making the mascot look like him.

Professor Posted 8 November, 2014 Posted 8 November, 2014 Lallana was excited at playing Champions League football against Real Madrid. Wonder if it has dawned on him that he only got a game because Rodgers had thrown the towel in and was playing his reserves to save his first choice players for the Chelsea game. Even when he sat on the bench today as an unused sub, maybe he still doesn't understand that he's now a small fish.
Batman Posted 8 November, 2014 Posted 8 November, 2014 Rogers is a funny one. He had every single journo licking his arse last season and all summer. Liverpool board generally restricted his input in transfers. Sturridge was not his number 1 choice apparently but the transfer committee got him anyway. I'm sure I have read somewhere that after last season, rogers gained far more control over transfers from this summer Well...... LOL
nta786 Posted 8 November, 2014 Posted 8 November, 2014 http://forums.liverpoolfc.com/threads/364082-Let-s-talk-Lovren/page26 well well well. how things have changed lool- from today onwards- they really do want him dropped or even out!

Called it long ago into the season. He's only ever had one good performance and that was a friendly against an injury ridden Dortmund. The man's a fraud. No wonder he couldn't wait to get here and hand in a transfer request, I bet he couldn't believe that Liverpool were in for him. He has literally zero composure on the ball. His postional sense is close to none. The amount of times I've seen him get beat in the air. And got totally outplayed, out muscled, bullied by the wonder Zamrogba. The man's a fraud. How he got into the starting line up today is a disgrace to the players who performed well the other night (Kolo). Hopefully he's not here next season, and the cheek of some of our fans to claim he's better that Mamadou Sakho, **** out of here. This one is great to Put it another way, we bought 3 Southampton players and we are now s**te. Southampton on the other hand are not. It was bad business. Edited 8 November, 2014 by doddisalegend
S-Clarke Posted 8 November, 2014 Posted 8 November, 2014 I'm so upset for Lovren, what a shame for him. Actually, no.
S-Clarke Posted 8 November, 2014 Posted 8 November, 2014 I also find it quite funny that Jose mentions Man City, Man Utd, Arsenal and ourselves still being in the title race. Yet doesn't mention Liverpool or Tottenham, where all these great players and coaches we had last year moved to - to ultimately challenge with Chelsea. Whopsy.

SNSUN Posted 8 November, 2014 Posted 8 November, 2014 Lovren, so shocking that even the Liverpool fans want him gone after 11 games, and Lallana who is struggling to get into the Liverpool first team. £45 million of utter hilarity.
