He was on the Exeter bench at first ,but is getting game time and has scored a couple of goals, but as you wrote (above), he might have 

had a better chance had he stayed with Saints.  He was in a class of his own in our U21's and might have got some minutes with us when

you consider the progress that Tyler Dibling has made so far.  Young lads who have spent their entire careers with a club from the age of 6

may get impatient for quick success, but the threshold between a good U21 player, and becoming " a Prem. starlet"  is a giant leap for many.

I'm never sure if.. " defectors ".. is the correct designation for some of the posts on this thread. 

 

Many times it refers to those who may have left the club without getting a chance, and not those who " wanted away" for greener pastures.

Someone on here posted an item about Kevin Danso, having been played out of position (by Hassenhuttl)  was not retained after his loan expired,

... rather than wanting to move on, but that he was now tearing up trees as a dominating CB at his new club (?)

So .....it was a shock to read that he recently needed an emergency (heart?) operation, and is likely to be out of the game for some time.

My post was made before his loan move was made, by the way. At the time of posting, he hadn't been given a chance in their 1st team in preseason.

Sam Gallagher just scored to put Stoke 3 1 up against the Skates. Well done Sam, although I could never get a tune out of him in FM2018

He also has an assist. Can he repeat the hat-trick he scored  in our 7-0 thrashing of Pompey in the FA Youth Cup? Stoke are 6-1 up now. It could easily have been 10. I guess we won't be playing Pompey next year, even if we go back down to the Championship.

Salisu scored. It’s hurting when you see many of our ex-players scored goals for fun, which proves how poor our manger and the management is.

Mohammed Salisu has played less than 20 games in the season and a bit since he left. Scored maybe one goal a season at best anywhere ever. 

Who are "all" these ex-players "scoring goals for fun"?

Do not say Che Adams, who scored 17 goals for fun for us last season.

Because he finally had surgery on the injury that the experts on this board were confidently claiming he was faking when he was with us.

Nice to see them all doing well. In leagues with no impact on us.

As Sam's on loan, hopefully he'll have the best of them all.

He was an unused sub away to Dagenham on Tuesday.  Vokins was subbed on  in the 92nd minute and provided the assist for the equalising goal.  Good to see the club doing so well under Kelvin.

Was at Gosport Borough last night with a few skates I work with to cheer on Totton. Austin was getting a right old scumming from the local blue few which he promptly answered with a goal and assist to take a 2-0 lead, before a power cut led to the game getting abandoned.

Don’t know if Beattie is still involved with Totton but I didn’t hear anything aimed in his direction from the unwashed.

Mason Holgate sent off on his debut for Jamaica, gets slammed by the Jamaica press, a disaster debut they headlined it for costing them the game.  Well there's a surprise !!!

He’s never going to be prolific at the highest level had a good start in Italy and now it’s gone quite much like when he played for us.  He is a 100% player but doesn’t have the consistency if he did he would be very very good.

He hit that shot with incredible power. The whole net was shaking afterwards. It's interesting to watch the closeup of his shooting technique shown at the end of that video clip.
