angelman Posted 26 May, 2018 Share Posted 26 May, 2018 I do find players amusing when they try and ingratiate themselves to the club's supporters by ****ing over the last club and its supporters. Reinforces the fact that they are not the sharpest tools, but just big ones.

AdrianC Posted 26 May, 2018 Share Posted 26 May, 2018 If Liverpool win, the media Klopp-and-Kop Fest will be utterly unbearable. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk It's bad enough now in the build up. I swear Radio 5live have had wall to wall coverage of Liverpool supporters for the last three days. The annoying accents and the harping back to former glory mixed in with the fawning sycophantic reporters is enough to induce vomiting. I drove home from work last night and had to switch yet another interview with a plucky scouse fan making his way across Europe off and when I left for work again this morning it was the same bloody thing. Absolutely fed up with the w@nkers now and I hope the ex Southampton contingent fall on their arses spectacularly and I xan enjoy the sight of them crying over their losers medals. Crab Lungs Posted 26 May, 2018 Share Posted 26 May, 2018 That's a surprise. He stormed out of Saints when Forster came in to be #1. Only lasted one season (was it?) as Bournemouth first choice before Begovic came in. Has he matured and accepted he has to fight for a place? Totally understandable when you look at their rather differing levels of ability.

benjii Posted 27 May, 2018 Share Posted 27 May, 2018 Even before his starring role yesterday he probably was - but is it fair to say Gareth Bale is the greatest ever product of our academy? Probably. I guess, objectively, Shearer is probably the nearest contender. Of course the correct answer is Le Tiss though.
northam soul Posted 27 May, 2018 Share Posted 27 May, 2018 Carillo, Forster and Boufal plus 10mill should do it. Yeah if only. Even Carrillo would probably score some goals with Bale tearing it up on one side. Come on Les make it happen for a year and then you can sell him to the dippers the following season. He was mentioned on Talk****e this morning......why didn't Liverpool get Forster from Saints in January? "A big, imposing keeper who would do a great job for them." tajjuk Posted 27 May, 2018 Share Posted 27 May, 2018 You have to wonder what motivation for trophies he has, already won 4 champions leagues, as many as Messi, he's got Wales to a major tournament, is Wales's all time top goalscorer. Be interesting to see where he goes, might hinge on Ronaldo who is also hinting at moving. If he does come back to the PL I hope it's to Spurs (or us lol) but not Utd

I was thinking exactly the same. There is the Welsh connection with sparky for a start and we are Gareths spiritual home after all. We could only pay him peanuts but he already has £70million according to the Sunday Times ( third wealthiest sportsman after Mclroy and Murray) so he could afford the pay cut if he liked the challenge. Go on Les. Prove the doubters wrong and get Bale.

There would probably be a transfer fee of close to £100 million so that only really leaves City or Chelsea in the running. Could United afford to spend that sort of money so soon after buying Pogba who hasn’t exactly set the world alight. If if he comes to the Prem it’ll be because he wants to win it so I’d expect him to end up at City.
