david in sweden Posted 4 September, 2016 Share Posted 4 September, 2016 Me too, he was very good today. I don't think you can blame the keeper. Sometimes the easiest way to score is a shot between his legs. maybe not for the shot, but I noted the Slovakian keepers play-acting right at the end (attempt to waste time) gave just enough extra time that was needed to score... St Chalet Posted 4 September, 2016 Share Posted 4 September, 2016 As soon as he saw he wasn't being picked, Lucille Shaw suddenly was crying that his leg wasn't right. Feel sorry for his and how he still hasn't manned up as a player. In fact his moods are so developed he ought to wear a bra. Shaw is a decent lad, suffered a horrific injury at a ypung age and left us in a classier way than many of his 'mature' teammates. For anyone of those 3 reasons I am prepared to cut him some slack. Your comments are pathetic.

ENSKIED Posted 4 September, 2016 Share Posted 4 September, 2016 I thought Lallana was sh1t apart from the goal. So did the rest of the people in the pub. I'm in Plymouth as well so there's no bias what so ever! That's not my knowledge of Plymouth, for a big city it's a bit of a footy wilderness, Argyle have been dire and dying for years [ sad I know] and it's thus something of a Manc outpost, ergo lots of glory hunting "plassy" Mancs there who do perhaps have a bias agenda in regard to err Liverpool. ENSKIED Posted 4 September, 2016 Share Posted 4 September, 2016 Just as many Janner-pudlians as there are Jan-cunians in Plymouth Ok, so for argument's sake let's say you're right, what you're confirming then Batman there is or certainly could be bias in Plymouth - right? Lets say for example we're in a pub with err "Jan-cunians" or indeed a Jan-cunian stronghold there is every chance there could be bias against Lallana because he plays for Liverpool - agreed? Whereas Instant classic in his post unequivocally and deterministically states and I quote "I'm in Plymouth as well so there is no bias whatsoever" He also states "the rest of the people ergo "everybody" thought Lallana was $hit" so it's fair to deduce no "Janner-pudlians" were probably in the pub, most especially since Lallana was probably England's best player on this occasion. Sheaf Saint Posted 5 September, 2016 Share Posted 5 September, 2016 Lallana just still can't shoot. Even the shot for the goal was straight at the keeper! That was his first goal for England after 36 attempts. 36 shots, 1 goal (which a decent PL keeper would have saved) = a terrible record whichever way you look at it. We get shedloads of money in the premier league this day, shedloads. So whats 20 million when we could have kept Mane, who would be just the man at the tip of the diamond and who would have eventually buckled down like Schneiderlin did and got on with the job at hand. I bet Liverpool wouldn't sell Mane for 50 million + Long. They know his value. Clyne, Lallana and Mane must be worth at least 50% more than we sold them for. We poroably got about the right price for Lambert and Lovren. But, it's the big deals, like Bale and Mane, that we really miss out on. What Spurs got for Bale helped pay for their new stadium and when Liverpool sell Mane, he will pay for the Anfield stadium expansion.

Klopp has found their magic form to win the games. I suppose he has to something right, sometime, but watching the match replays I noticed that the Chelsea defence were AWOL. Their defending was non-existent. When the cross came in.... there were 5-6 Chelsea players holding hands in front of goal, whilst there were 5 Liverpool players totally free in the far post area. Lovren had a totally free header and could hardly miss. Chelsea were atrocious.
