whelk Posted 28 July, 2014 Posted 28 July, 2014 If you could undo one of this summer transfers who would it be? Chambers for me although Lallana will probably hurt us most.
Baird of the land Posted 28 July, 2014 Posted 28 July, 2014 Does cortèse count. If not chambers. Says everything that's wrong about saints rolling over like a whipped cur at the slightest interest which would make many championship clubs embarrassed let alone a club that finished in the top half of the prem.
igsey Posted 28 July, 2014 Posted 28 July, 2014 Lallana or Pochettino. If we still had them, no-one else would have followed.
angelman Posted 28 July, 2014 Posted 28 July, 2014 I wouldn't. They have all shown themselves for what they are. **** em all. Sell the lot. Wonder whether my interest in football is going to run out before the season even starts. Fortunately I am away on holiday soon, so I don't have to watch this **** develop.
DG Posted 28 July, 2014 Posted 28 July, 2014 Chambers for me, i was prepared for everyone else leaving (once Lambert and Shaw had gone) but not him.
Wes Tender Posted 28 July, 2014 Posted 28 July, 2014 Lallana or Pochettino. If we still had them, no-one else would have followed. That's just absurd. So you really do believe that had Lallana or Pochettino still been with us, no one else would have followed?
igsey Posted 28 July, 2014 Posted 28 July, 2014 That's just absurd. So you really do believe that had Lallana or Pochettino still been with us, no one else would have followed? Shaw probably still would have gone, but Lovren and Chambers would surely still be here.
Saint Garrett Posted 28 July, 2014 Posted 28 July, 2014 Although it's a massive shame Chambers going, we still have clyne, Lallana or Morgan would probably leave the biggest hole. All starts back with Cortese though. If he was allowed to stay, I firmly believe that the majority would still be here.
Chez Posted 28 July, 2014 Posted 28 July, 2014 Shaw, no Lovren, no Adam...no...****, can I change my mind and say Morgan?
CB Fry Posted 28 July, 2014 Posted 28 July, 2014 Chambers for me, i was prepared for everyone else leaving (once Lambert and Shaw had gone) but not him. This. The only one that is completely inexplicable on every level. And Morgan, which now feels crushingly inevitable.
COMEONYOUREDS Posted 28 July, 2014 Posted 28 July, 2014 £629 from my mastercard to fat kat's account.
Badger Posted 28 July, 2014 Posted 28 July, 2014 Morgan is the transfer I don't want to happen. But of those gone so far Chambers is the one I find most difficult to reconcile. It shows little fight by those in contol to keep things moving forward, and an no ambition. It seems we no longer even have an aim for the future other than quick £££.
Julian H. Cope Posted 28 July, 2014 Posted 28 July, 2014 Schneiderlin. Definitely. The heart beat of our side. Gutted.
alpine_saint Posted 28 July, 2014 Posted 28 July, 2014 Markus Liebeherr from Saints to St. Peter's All Stars XI....
trousers Posted 28 July, 2014 Posted 28 July, 2014 Markus Liebherr!! Markus Liebeherr from Saints to St. Peter's All Stars XI.... This. God has got a lot to answer for. Transferred to heaven far to soon....
alpine_saint Posted 28 July, 2014 Posted 28 July, 2014 This. God has got a lot to answer for I dont think he's tapped-up like Rodgers.
shurlock Posted 28 July, 2014 Posted 28 July, 2014 This. The only one that is completely inexplicable on every level. And Morgan, which now feels crushingly inevitable. Guess dismissing the rumour as "in the ether between some dinlow on twitter and Alpine's warped little mind" would partly account for that.
ratio_decidendi Posted 28 July, 2014 Posted 28 July, 2014 If Morgan goes, him. If not, Lambert for sentimental value.
mrace777 Posted 29 July, 2014 Posted 29 July, 2014 Has to be Lambert, but of all those gone he's the only one that did it for the right seasons and I think most of us can accept him leaving. So, I would undo the calumn transfer, he's got a lot to offer and could develope to world class.
Gastón10 Posted 29 July, 2014 Posted 29 July, 2014 Lallana. Was quality last season and also whenever he got the ball you felt anything could happen. Not got a player like that now. ( until jrod gets back). Don't know anything about Tadic to judge.

The big question is: Would be buy any of them back for the price we sold them?
