What do you expect him to do?

He's just got offered more money to play for a bigger club whilst the club he was previously playing for was in the process of a fire sale.

All of the above are stone cold facts.

Move the **** on ffs. You're embarrassing.

People have a problem with his statements about wanting away while still a Saints player. That would p**s off fans of any club.

In isolation all of the sales aren't that much of an issue and much easier to move on from.

It's the manner and quantity of the sales that has rightly set alarm bells ringing

Are posters here on some kind of performance related fee for everytime they type 'firesale' and 'asset stripping'. If so wasnt it a contractual obligation that you had to look it up so you could know what it means and use it in context?

It's the manner in which he orchestrated the move that has upset people, if he kept his mouth shut most people would wish him well

The saints statement was very similar to Lallanas

Act like a professional and make his feelings known privately as not to undermine the negotiating position of his employer which made his last 'dream' come true...

He may earn mega bucks, win an fa cup or two with Liverpool and be proven as a top quality player but he will always be a classless pr*ck :D
