Getting to Gatwick

Can anyone recommend a taxi company to take us to Gatwick, getting fed up with driving there and back for hols. Had a look at the trains and the costs are so high

I work at Gatwick so it's a common journey for me. You could do £15 return on Saturdays last season.

When I looked into this a couple of years ago an evening train was less than £4 single from Southampton Central with a railcard. Every hour, just a few minutes over two hours. Southern Trains mind, not South West Trains via Waterloo/Clapham Junction which is quicker but more expensive.
