Tonight's Evening Standard reports that Nacer Chadli has "already rejected a switch to Southampton"

It adds that Spurs are confident of signing Schneiderlin and will "wait until January to buy his teammate, striker Jay Rodriguez."

Why did you say someone was having a medical today kbilly? Obviously not true?

what the feck is up with people on here. If someone posts a rumour that doesn't occur exactly to plan, why is there this great cry of "lies". Jesus wept.

Because he's known to always be right.

It'd be bloody harsh to disqualify Legia for bringing on an ineligible sub for 4 minutes. It's not like it has benefitted them in any way or that Celtic would have scored 5 in those 4 minutes to go through, is it?

It would be an extremely disproportionate sanction, but we've seen stranger things when it comes to the governing bodies of football.

Dear Roger.

We signed a player today.

Football clubs give players a Medical before signing then.

Sometimes terms are agreed and deals put in place, and medicals are delayed by other transfers at their and others clubs.

So who we signing then mate more than one?

How long before UEFA give their decision on Legia Warsaw? With the prospect of Celtic taking their place can see our hopes of signing Forster and/or Van Dijk finishing. Should have had someone on the touchline last night to seal the deals. Another case of us being slow and missing out.

Interesting listening to Sean Dyche earlier on TalkSport. He was talking about how difficult it is to get transfer deals done in the Premiership. Sounds like we are not the only ones having trouble getting our targets in.

Perhaps, but other clubs are also succeeding in getting targets in

CB taking a medical....

Hmm, and the club hash´t announced that slovenian son of their PM yet...?

2+2 =

So the 16yo slovenian son of their PM is a backup for Rojo?

=5

Not him. I know who but i wont post name as it may not happen. depends on whether Rojo deal happens or not. And Reed was back yesterday btw.

What's "Not him" in reference to? KBS should perhaps explain what he means as it seems people making up their own assertions.

Taking these two posts together:

I'd punt a fiver on our interest in Ings being very active.

Happy to take your money. Guan's post was in direct reference to K,Billy's which would suggest we're after a CB.

Koeman doing a presser tomorrow so should get a few transfer lines.

Hopefully not too many questions covering the old ground...but expect there will be.

Wonder if anyone will ask what happened to the other 1 or 2 that he wanted in last weekend?

@themartinsamuel

Legia Warsaw will almost certainly be fined for fielding an ineligible player but remain in the Champions League... Sorry #Celtic fans.

Guarantee he'll say 'we'll hopefully have a couple of signings in by the end of the weekend' and all the Saints fans will be :poundit: themselves silly again.

There's no wiggle room, UEFA's rules say that if a team field a supsended player then the game IS forfeited.

Not necessarily

However, in 2010, Uefa fined Debrecen £15,000 but rejected a protest from opponents Litex Lovech, who wanted the Hungarian side kicked out of the tournament for fielding an ineligible player.

Debrecen argued that they fielded Peter Mate in good faith as a substitute in Bulgaria when they were leading 4-1 on aggregate.

Uefa ruled that Debrecen had "no interest in fielding this player for the three last minutes of additional time, when the score was so clearly in its favour".

Again? Still.

Not true. Debrecen got away with pretty much the same thing in 2010.

If all goes to plan expect 2 possibly 3 signings confirmed tomorrow just in time to be parading to the fans to keep them happy on Saturday.

In sure most will be plesently pleased.

Exciting times

So that's Forster as one. Maybe Rojo and Van Dijk? Or Ings?
