Damn! Seems Forster is on the way though although heard not mention of Van Dijk but that doesn't mean a great deal. Here's hoping this becomes an even better week. Rojo and Forster alone would represent very good business. Definitely need another striker or attacking options though.

Belhanda will play very far forward, just off the striker or even as a second striker if need be, similar to Lambert's position. This may be the thinking with him.

If he's sat on the bench most of the time, he clearly won't be captain in the event that MS leaves, which is a shame. Personally I think in a successful team, all players should be prepared to be rotated. But hey, what do I know!

My gut is Morgan has been told he can leave in Jan, if he plays nice, by which time the team will be more settled and we will have the chance to bed in a replacement (hence all the midfielders we are being linked with)

Bring in Clasie as a replacement and we'll be no worse off IMO given the number of CM's we have.
