Again, seems like a good signing but if he comes I would imagine we would have to let cork leave.

Tadier + Clasie, and it's goodbye to Cork and Morgan IMO.

But Clasie is a class act of a player, slightly nervous about his 'slightness' though.

Hmm. Again I would say that on paper that could be another downgrade. As you say clasie looks promising, but Morgan is one of the best in his position in Europe.

They don't even play in the same position. Clasie doesn't have the same defensive qualities as Morgan - again quite similar to S.Davis.

Just spoken to my mate who is involved with the club and we have a player booked in for a medical tomorrow. He wouldn't tell me who due to his job but maybe an announcement tomorrow?

Considering Osvaldo is supposed to be signing for Inter tomorrow, I assume this is the other leg of that transaction.

How do you see our midfield if we make these signings? IMO losing Morgan and Cork will weaken us.

Losing Morgan will weaken us whoever we bring in.

Unlike MP, think Koeman wants his CMs to get forward more, so will opt for only one DM -Wanyama, with the other CMs expected to be more box-to-box. Views of Cork depend whether he can get forward or whether he's competing with Vic for that one DM spot. If the latter, Cork is a necessary back-up for Vic - assuming Morgan goes. If Morgan stays, things could get pretty crowded for Cork. My view, however, is that Cork isn't just a one trick pony but can also play in a more advanced position a la Everton (h).

Until the likes of Taider, JWP and Reed prove themselves (and the burden of proof is firmly on them), I wouldn't let Cork go anywhere and have him signed up to a new contract. Should they prove themselves, things can be reassessed. There will no shortage of suitors for such a consistent, known performer.

An anagram of Stetson is St Neots. St Neots is the home of Lee Philpot. Lee Philpot played for Leicester City. Leicester City is the current club of Anthony Knockaert. Anthony Knockaert used to play for Guingamp. Guingamp was an early club of Didier Drogba. Didier Drogba just re-signed for Chelsea. Chelsea just released Samuel Eto'o.

I deduce then the new signing is Samuel Eto'o.

I find it very hard to believe we could keep any signing under the radar. Even supposed useless Italian 2nd reserves are known before hand.

Because everyone knew about Bertrand on this board beforehand, right? Even the Saints press officer boasted about how well they kept him under wraps!
