Transfer Rumours Only

I think PL rules only allow 1 loan between PL clubs

Fair point, but what happened to "if you want out, put it in writing " ??

Seems we have bent over backwards so as not to stop the player(s) losing any money in the move(s)

Stupid

1. How do you know this, and

2. Why would we do it

Stupid

Make up a scenario and then get annoyed about it. Your speciality. That, and being a swivel eyed ranting idiot.

Forster will happen, and for one he is the keeper I've wanted for a while. Good player, experienced at the very highest level.

Not Complaining but in all seriousness that position needs strengthening the least at this moment, I would be much happier if we were close to signing a centre half or other outfield player.

Why would you assume that because this one might happen first, that we're not working on several others simultaneously?

A couple on hear have said they do not rate Gnabry but on the occasions I saw him last year (admittedly only MOTD highlights) he looked really useful and certainly offers some pace that we lack. However I would be disappointed to only see a loan, especially as we hold a great bargaining card in Chambers.

Loan?? So if we can turn him into a world beater, Arsenal take him back much improved, so they benefit yet again from our hard work. Maybe if the arrangement was that they pay us a lot to do that, then it would be OK. But loans don't work like that. Maybe we should start doing it though.

Still no lucid comment regarding what I said then CB ??

It is NOT a made up scenario. It is actually happening. If you weren't so tied up with finishing your homework, you'd be able to see it

So you are perfectly happy with the players tweeting that they want to leave, and then get their wish without putting in a transfer request

Plus of course all the players that have left, plus those that are about to ?? I was making that up as well I suppose

Grow up, you'll enjoy the teenage years

I don't assume that but am just saying it would be nice to start filling the gaps first rather than a position we already have a decent 1st option.I am sure the club are looking to bring in the lines of de Vrij but that could go the distance if these players are waiting for bigger clubs.

I am not sure why the Lovren deal is taking so long if his head has been in Liverpool for weeks he could of sorted personal terms ages ago although that could mean he may of had an issue with his medical when the body turned up 6 weeks later.

Does anyone know what the record income for transfer fees for one club in one window is as perhaps Les is trying to fill up the trophy cabinet with a guiness world record certificate.

When will you sign in with your other account, so you can argue the points you've just made? Always interesting to see what your other half feels.

Typical Express. Rehash of all the links and they can't even spell the name of a World Cup star correctly. De Vrig? LOL.

Just watched some highlights of the Brentford v Nice game that Erwin Koeman was at yesterday and Kolo looked at fauly for a goal and nearly cocked up for another.

Interesting though that the Nice team graphic had him playing as a CB in a back 3 so possibly he could also replace Hooiveld as a left sided centre back, if we do end up going for him.

Also the reason WH pulled out was due to crazy agents fees so I wonder what our position is on that.

Gnabry won't want to play for us and we wouldn't want Jenkinson, anyway they want to sell him, they've had some offers I think, from bottom grubbers mainly.

I think Gnabry would do what he's told, to be honest. Better playing for us than Bolton or Wigan, like loaned Arsenal youngsters have in the last few years.

The problem with Jenkinson for me is that he'll want regular football. He might be good enough to start but the one positive of Chambers' move is that Clyne can be sure of his place and grow back into the side.

Yep sounds just what we need to replace Jos in the own goals and cock up department :D

Maybe it's taking longer than we thought because deals just take longer than we all think.

Or maybe the club wants to sort out his replacement first, which is what everyone else seems to want to complain about.

He's going obviously though, or so we assume. But why not make him wait a bit longer if we can I say. Not hurting us to keep him out of serious training for another week or so.

Tbh if you're wanting to sign a LB from the Côte D'Azur then Kurzawa is the man you want, still Monaco are in the CL now so I guess we've no chance of that. The lad from Nice is a bit so so. Why didn't he sign at West Ham, can't remember what happened there, well apart from it being West Ham of course.

As I only have this A/C , I haven't got a clue what you are on about

Unless it is subtle humour, which, I'm afraid, I do not get

I think Fat Sam objected to paying any agent other than his own.

How do I know it ???

Of ALL the players that have left, or about to leave, I can only recall one of them that actually put in a request

NOT stupid

Do you actually know this as a FACT or is this an assumption based on media reports/speculation?

Daily Star saying we have joined the race to sign Micah Richards. Now that would be a coup, a class player.

The article in question...

Daily Star is also linking Ronald Koeman with an interest in Roberto Firmino...

The race has been called off because Richards pulled his hamsting at the start line. Good player but never fit and a huge risk for the kind of cash he would want. We would only sign him to play CB and most of his best work has been done at RB. He will go to a higher profile club I reckon.

but if he had to choose between us and Everton where do you think he would go ?

I don't know quite how loan deals work but I always thought the parent club exercised more authority on the destination by sending the player to the club where they'd get the best development and most minutes. If Everton do fancy him (do they?) that would probably be us.

Doesn't seem like anything is imminent judging by press reports, apart from a second bid for Forster. We will be a bit like Sunderland last year in cobbling together a largely new first XI then taking some time to make those players gel. At least Sunderland got their business done early though.

Les reed has said that there would be only 1 marque signing. That was tadic

Not sure I would call Tadic a marquee signing. A good signing none the less, and delighted to have him. Far rather players like him that a "marquee" signing that would be putting far too many eggs in one basket - just ask WHU about Carroll. And then, aren't "marquee" signings too much of a risk of being prima donnas and being far too flighty?
