Olallana Posted 31 July, 2014 Posted 31 July, 2014 Just a small reminder....we are their first opponent in PL, would make much sense for them to look at our games. I hope we have scouts on their games too for that same reason...
Bewildered Posted 31 July, 2014 Posted 31 July, 2014 A liverpool scout, clearly not hiding the fact. Maybe they want Tadic? Maybe they are scouting us ahead of the first game of the PL season?
trousers Posted 31 July, 2014 Posted 31 July, 2014 LFC scout? Apparently so.... although I guess you'd expect our first opponents of the season to have someone watching our pre-season games
supergoose Posted 31 July, 2014 Posted 31 July, 2014 LFC scout? Alpine a LFC scout? That explains a lot.
S-Clarke Posted 31 July, 2014 Posted 31 July, 2014 Adam Virgo speaks a lot of rubbish don't we? ''We need a new striker, we lacked a cutting edge last season and someone who could get 15 or 20 goals. I know Uluha (sp) scored 20, but we need someone else now''
Batman Posted 31 July, 2014 Posted 31 July, 2014 Adam Virgo speaks a lot of rubbish don't we? ''We need a new striker, we lacked a cutting edge last season and someone who could get 15 or 20 goals. I know Uluha (sp) scored 20, but we need someone else now'' eh?
doddisalegend Posted 31 July, 2014 Posted 31 July, 2014 Apparently so.... although I guess you'd expect our first opponents of the season to have someone watching our pre-season games Does that mean we've sent some lucky git out to the USA to watch Liverpool
S-Clarke Posted 31 July, 2014 Posted 31 July, 2014 eh? The sussex co-commentator on this stream, I think.
trousers Posted 31 July, 2014 Posted 31 July, 2014 Does that mean we've sent some lucky git out to the USA to watch Liverpool Krueger...?
Batman Posted 31 July, 2014 Posted 31 July, 2014 The sussex co-commentator on this stream, I think. what did he say that was wrong?
dubai_phil Posted 31 July, 2014 Posted 31 July, 2014 Does anyone read this ****? Strangely yes. It's more motivating than anything you've managed the past few weeks
S-Clarke Posted 31 July, 2014 Posted 31 July, 2014 what did he say that was wrong? That they lacked a 20 goal a season striker last season with a cutting edge, and then said I know Uluha scored 20. and then sort of dug himself out of it.
Batman Posted 31 July, 2014 Posted 31 July, 2014 That they lacked a 20 goal a season striker last season with a cutting edge, and then said I know Uluha scored 20. and then sort of dug himself out of it. oh, got ya. didnt hear that bit they are dull as fuk, mind
SO16_Saint Posted 31 July, 2014 Posted 31 July, 2014 Apparently so.... although I guess you'd expect our first opponents of the season to have someone watching our pre-season games yeah... was being a little facetious
The Majestic Channon Posted 31 July, 2014 Posted 31 July, 2014 what did he say that was wrong? Take your time
ratio_decidendi Posted 31 July, 2014 Posted 31 July, 2014 So the radio stream broke down while JWP scored to make it 3-0 .... Absolute screamer apparently.
eurosaint Posted 31 July, 2014 Posted 31 July, 2014 BBC fecked up again, missed the third goal, grrr....
S-Clarke Posted 31 July, 2014 Posted 31 July, 2014 I know it's only pre-season, but we sound pretty handy.
trousers Posted 31 July, 2014 Posted 31 July, 2014 @bigadamsport: 63' #saintsfc 3 #bhafc 0 James Ward-Prowse hits a dream 25-yarder to put Southampton well in control at The Amex
doddisalegend Posted 31 July, 2014 Posted 31 July, 2014 LOL get silence sound comes back on and it's 3-0
latter day saint Posted 31 July, 2014 Posted 31 July, 2014 3-0 JWP with a 25 yarder that broke the radio !
pangy Posted 31 July, 2014 Posted 31 July, 2014 Have a feeling this is going to be JWP year, hoping he starts to bag a few goals before securing his dream move to Liverpool
Olallana Posted 31 July, 2014 Posted 31 July, 2014 And Bournemouth and Brighton fans were trying to claim they would fight to be best at the south coast......go back where you came from...
sussexsaint Posted 31 July, 2014 Posted 31 July, 2014 Great goal and Isgrove is working his balls off. Very impressive indeed.
redder freak Posted 31 July, 2014 Posted 31 July, 2014 Koeman used to score with long range shots. I reckon he's been encouraging the players to do the same.
hypochondriac Posted 31 July, 2014 Posted 31 July, 2014 Sounds like a nice positive pre season game. Good stuff.
doddisalegend Posted 31 July, 2014 Posted 31 July, 2014 I know it's only pre-season, but we sound pretty handy. I think we've been pretty good in all our pre-season games although you have to take the level of opposition in to account
S-Clarke Posted 31 July, 2014 Posted 31 July, 2014 I think we've been pretty good in all our pre-season games although you have to take the level of opposition in to account Brighton and B'Mouth aren't of a bad standard though, this is their last pre-season game too.
Goatboy Posted 31 July, 2014 Posted 31 July, 2014 It's in a middle of a field isn't it, about 5 miles out of town? I had heard that it was a bïtch to get to. But I was talking about architecture only, but for £100m on one stand....you sure? What ever anyone says about SMS, it was value for money compared to other stadia. It's what we were singing to them a few years ago: "You've only got one stand!" The game we lost 3-1 if I recall (Lambert sent off) One of the stands goes up three tiers and the rest of the stadium looks like an after thought. Had a drink after in their end of the concourse and nearly got my head kicked in (not my fault!).
washsaint Posted 31 July, 2014 Posted 31 July, 2014 We're doomed I tell you, terrible pre-season and Koeman does not have a clue. We'll struggle to finish above bottom place........oh, hang on a minute...........
RoswellSaint Posted 31 July, 2014 Posted 31 July, 2014 No, I live over here but will be at their game in Charlotte on Saturday.
Ken Tone Posted 31 July, 2014 Posted 31 July, 2014 I think we've been pretty good in all our pre-season games although you have to take the level of opposition in to account Fai enough but a good away win at a team near the top of the division below ours last season, is encouraging nonetheless
SO16_Saint Posted 31 July, 2014 Posted 31 July, 2014 Isgrove was handy on loan at Posh last season, he looks a good little player
Batman Posted 31 July, 2014 Posted 31 July, 2014 We're doomed I tell you, terrible pre-season and Koeman does not have a clue. We'll struggle to finish above bottom place........oh, hang on a minute........... lets wait and see signs look good
RoswellSaint Posted 31 July, 2014 Posted 31 July, 2014 Does that mean we've sent some lucky git out to the USA to watch Liverpool And my first post was supposed to be in reply to this but it has been so long since I posted, I got it wrong - I will be watching Liverpool on Saturday. For my sins.
doddisalegend Posted 31 July, 2014 Posted 31 July, 2014 Brighton and B'Mouth aren't of a bad standard though, this is their last pre-season game too. Funny to think we were all in the same division a few seasons back.
doggface Posted 31 July, 2014 Posted 31 July, 2014 Massive credit to Koeman for keeping the boy's focused with all the BS going down. Think 4-3-3 is going to be a plus for us.
S-Clarke Posted 31 July, 2014 Posted 31 July, 2014 Funny to think we were all in the same division a few seasons back. And the last time we played here we were humbled 3-0, lambert Red too. Miserable afternoon.
SuperSAINT Posted 31 July, 2014 Posted 31 July, 2014 Great goal and Isgrove is working his balls off. Very impressive indeed. I wanted to ask how he was playing. Pleased for the lad. He's done us proud this pre-season.
