SO16_Saint Posted 14 July, 2014 Posted 14 July, 2014 Can anyone recommend a good tattoo place in Southampton? The mrs wants one but is not 100% sure so is thinking of a henna one first. she wants a wrist band with our 2 kids names incorporated somehow.
buctootim Posted 14 July, 2014 Posted 14 July, 2014 Can she not remember your kids' names? Be reasonable. You don't get to see them often when they're in care.
Gemmel Posted 15 July, 2014 Posted 15 July, 2014 Maybe not golden threads, but if there were a category for unique threads................. it could be with the other 1297 Saints tattoo threads
SO16_Saint Posted 15 July, 2014 Author Posted 15 July, 2014 Thanks for the helpful and insightful replies. There was me thinking I might actually get some adult responses. what was I thinking
Goatboy Posted 15 July, 2014 Posted 15 July, 2014 Never used the first link but has a good rep. Personally I use Steve Hunter (though it means going to Pompey). He's cool and good. http://www.paulystattoo.com/#!galleries http://www.bigtattooplanet.com/stevehunter

Essruu Posted 15 July, 2014 Posted 15 July, 2014 Can anyone recommend a good tattoo place in Southampton? Now there is an oxymoron if ever I saw one. There is no such thing as a good tattoo. If you want a serious answer, you should tell your missus to knock some doors up Shirley Towers or on Thornhill or Weston Estates. You never know, the sight of fat and ugly women with tattoos on their arms and wrists, may just make her see sense and change her mind about becoming one.
Tokyo-Saint Posted 15 July, 2014 Posted 15 July, 2014 Old mate from school runs this place https://www.facebook.com/capnjackstattoo Don't have first hand experience of it myself but he was always really good at art at school and his customers always seem to be posting good stuff about him.

Goatboy Posted 15 July, 2014 Posted 15 July, 2014 Taxi drivers don't believe in that Gboy. I like that! Like I said, personal taste.
Huffton Posted 15 July, 2014 Posted 15 July, 2014 The Tattoo Man in Totton is very good. Usually quite a long waiting list, although that should tell you all you need to know. He's on faceache if you want to see some of his work.

You wouldn't choose wallpaper for your lounge that you'd be stuck with for the rest of your life so don't go getting a permanent disfigurement that you'll be stuck with.
Pancake Posted 15 July, 2014 Posted 15 July, 2014 so don't go getting a permanent disfigurement that you'll be stuck with. I think he said he was already married.
Whitey Grandad Posted 15 July, 2014 Posted 15 July, 2014 I think he said he was already married. Very good
