Cortese Cutlery Question.

I have seen many a mention of Cortese's spoons on here, usually with reference to them as going missing. I must have missed the origin of this merry tale, is it a forum in joke or based on a real story.

(Now awaits several dozen different explanations from which I have to guess the real one)

adkins came into SMS early one day and caught cortese spooning with lallana on the sofabed. It's why he had to go
