On that first video at 4.19 shows why he is the perfect replacement for Adam, that is some mighty fine badge kissing right there, right up there with Adam's badge kissing efforts. Sign him up I say:)

Before we sign him we really need to identify which side his hair will be tossed. Any a**hole can shoot and defend but only those lucky enough to have luscious locks can play football and look fab doing it.

Quite possibly both.

 

I think its very likely to be both, he is one of the stand out players in the Dutch league and Saints scout the Dutch league heavily.

Who knows for sure, but in February Koeman did say Tadic was arguably the best player in the Eredivisie

Yeah I'd agree with this. I doubt the club would just spend £10m+ on a player on the recommendation of a Manager, but at the same time would want to show support for the new Manager by signing targets they both agree with. It's a decent approach in my opinion.

With him being Serbian I assume this means Lovren will definitely be off. If not the training ground punch ups will make Osvaldo v Fonte look like a playground spat...

People keep mentioning videos but the only one I've seen is that one at the top of the thread and the chants. Has anyone got any good ones? Can't find any decent ones on youtube.

This. It's all so clichéd, it's funny! Club want player, club offer wages, player wants more wages, player knows club has more money, player's agent name drops other (bigger?) teams in a bid to make it look like player is doing club a favour. Yawn.

Sounds like a great signing! Perhaps there's going to be a triple reveal of Tadic, Pelle and the new kit? Would certainly be something to dry the bedsheets of some on here...

As Tadic is the Lallana replacement and Pelle the Lambert replacement, I think its more likely Pelle would get the 7 shirt.

 

No. 7 should go to the creative force IMO. Pelle can have no. 11 which is also free. :)

God I hope so, I'm not exactly slitting my wrists but I could do with some postive signing coming in rather than constant players leaving.

I imagine they will hold the kit until there's at least one new player to wear it.

Looks good to be honest. Better than the Pelle bloke to be honest.

 

However I do hope that we don't restrict our signings to where our manager comes from.

If one thing annoyed me from Cortese's big signings is that they were all playing in Italy, which came across as a bit lazy from him, especially when the best ones (Lovren, Steven Davis and Wanyama) came from other leagues.

Would that be €12.5m = £10m for Tadic. So £24/25m for Lallana less the £10m = £14/15m + Tadic for Lallana.

Haha. Unfortunately not, I just think I'd rather have our Captain and one of our best players ahead of £8m we don't need and a player we don't know will be good enough or not.
