.....2013–14[edit]

On 27 July 2013, Błaszczykowski won the 2013 DFL-Supercup with Dortmund 4–2 against rivals Bayern Munich.[20] On 26 October 2013, Błaszczykowski scored a goal for Dortmund in the Revierderby against rivals Schalke in a 3–1 win for Dortmund.[21]

On 25 January 2014, Błaszczykowski tore his anterior cruciate ligament in a 2–2 draw against Augsburg which will keep him out for the rest of the season..........

Hes should be on the final stages of his period out

Right Winger who turned down Man City last year, signing a 5 year deal a Dortmund. If we got him that would be incredible.

I dig (deliberate pun) the description as the most "organic" club in the country - do they give silverware for it?

Trouble is it's a business now, with the rewards measured in ££££ rather than silverware. As a successful business, Southampton must surely be gold award winners.

We do need to wait and see how the new signings and manager work out, but this isn't the bad old days. People keep on mentioning Dixon and Speedie, but how about the Magnificent six in return for Davies.

A spent Mark Hughes, A crippled David Howells and Mark 'KINGS FUKIN LYNN' Paul were my highlights.

In answer to the bear:

Some from abroad, some from within these isles (not necessarily England)

Some were picked for the world cup. Only one is uncapped.

Is under 28 young?

One has a kind of young Sean Bean ruggedness about him.

Was hoping the rumours about Bendtner weren't true. Now confirmed.

Here's a possible eight:

GK Marshall

CB Caulker

LB Kolojackiwhatsit

AM Tadic

AM Redmond

ST Pelle

ST Ings

ST Hernandez

We certainly wouldn't go down, that's for sure.

Given that 3 of those players just did and another one is playing for next season's relegation favourites, that's a pretty confident assertion.

So we sell pretty much 40% of our outfield starting 11 and we are in our best ever position?

Would like some of what that guy is smoking.

People are acting/talking as if we have already brought in suitable cover which we haven't. When/if that happens then talk about how strong we are because right now it is based on a whole lot of If's.

You don't want to talk in 'if's' and we should wait until things happen, but claim we have lost 40% of our outfrield 11, my maths makes it 20% with another very close to going. So if you just want to deal in facts it works both ways.
