Lets B Avenue Posted 11 July, 2014 Posted 11 July, 2014 Daley Blind?? had a cracker against Germany the other night Didn't realise he was Brazilian.
Give it to Ron Posted 11 July, 2014 Posted 11 July, 2014 Didn't realise he was Brazilian. ooops...meant Argies....
niceandfriendly Posted 11 July, 2014 Posted 11 July, 2014 Today I received the 1st book from my favourite coach @Koeman1963 Now in stores #PellèSpreekt@Feyenoord@VI_nlpic.twitter.com/VjgVm98vVx
buctootim Posted 11 July, 2014 Posted 11 July, 2014 Ooh. That means RK is at Feyenoord, or an old picture?
Matthew Le God Posted 11 July, 2014 Posted 11 July, 2014 Ooh. That means RK is at Feyenoord, or an old picture? Its a Tweet from 17th January 2014.
niceandfriendly Posted 11 July, 2014 Posted 11 July, 2014 From January, should have posted date. "Favourite coach" is a good sign
buctootim Posted 11 July, 2014 Posted 11 July, 2014 From January, should have posted date. "Favourite coach" is a good sign My current girlfriend is always my favourite one.
sussexsaint Posted 11 July, 2014 Posted 11 July, 2014 My current girlfriend is always my favourite one. Not this
VectisSaint Posted 11 July, 2014 Posted 11 July, 2014 Daley Blind?? had a cracker against Germany the other night Really, must have missed that. I saw him have a very average game against the Argies though.
ericofarabia Posted 11 July, 2014 Posted 11 July, 2014 My current girlfriend is always my favourite one. She's mine as well - can ask if she's free tomorrow? ;-)
Bearsy Posted 11 July, 2014 Posted 11 July, 2014 Really, must have missed that. I saw him have a very average game against the Argies though. Give it to Ron must be Blind. It's the only explanation.
badgerx16 Posted 11 July, 2014 Posted 11 July, 2014 My next girlfriend is always my favourite one. Surely this is more accurate ?
Mouldy Coat Posted 11 July, 2014 Posted 11 July, 2014 Surely not? Worse squad, more history of selling off players and little sign of investment, plus playing for pardew and ashley. If they have a chance, Saints and Koeman surely do.[/quote Depends if Debuchy signs for Arsenal, then they will no doubt have some money. My guess and it's only a guess would be that Kongolo is probably seen as a good fit
Saint Charlie Posted 11 July, 2014 Posted 11 July, 2014 Isn't it Janmaat that the Geordies are going for (RB)?

TwoPints Posted 11 July, 2014 Posted 11 July, 2014 Has he been spotted at the airport yet? Someone must know someone who has a mate that works there.
mcbendy Posted 11 July, 2014 Posted 11 July, 2014 28 years old, never made it near the Italian national team? Lots of goals in a poor league? The jury is out, surely, on whether a step up to the Prem will be too big.

The jury is out, surely, on whether a step up to the Prem will be too big. If he's Koeman's top target this summer thats good enough for me. Wouldn't bother me if he was 38 if he's the man Koeman wants. I think fwiw he'll be the business for us and look forward to his arrival.

The jury is out, surely, on whether a step up to the Prem will be too big. Don't see any reason why he can't have the same sort of impact as someone like Bony in the EPL. He`s tall, strong appears more mobile than Lambert, and the confidence must be flowing with his strike rate over last two seasons. Importantly, Koeman will also know the kind of service he thrives off of. Fully expect him to do well for us and bang in about 15 goals next season.
Mouldy Coat Posted 11 July, 2014 Posted 11 July, 2014 (edited) Who for ? Us or Newcastle ? us, but I am just making an observation. He can play as a left wing back which gives us the extra competition on that side which we need. He can also play centre back (an area we need greater strength in depth). He is also young and emerging with good sell on potential...back to the point. I would guess its Kongolo and Pelle Edited 11 July, 2014 by Mouldy Coat

Pastor Patrón Posted 11 July, 2014 Posted 11 July, 2014 Many said that about SRL. I don't think m/any Saints fans did.
Jez Posted 11 July, 2014 Posted 11 July, 2014 I don't think m/any Saints fans did. I don't think many Saints thought he would excel in the Premier League when we signed him in League One for £1m. He was 27 then (I think).
Bearsy Posted 11 July, 2014 Posted 11 July, 2014 I remember *some* people saying that Sharp would be better striker in the Premier League than Lambart.
View From The Top Posted 11 July, 2014 Posted 11 July, 2014 I don't think m/any Saints fans did. Yes, they did. Plenty on here questioned if he could step up.
Pancake Posted 11 July, 2014 Posted 11 July, 2014 I remember *some* people saying that Sharp would be better striker in the Premier League than Lambart. Happy to raise my hand and say I was one of those. Yet to be proved wrong though (sneaky caveat)

Bearsy Posted 11 July, 2014 Posted 11 July, 2014 Happy to raise my hand and say I was one of those. Yet to be proved wrong though (sneaky caveat) Send koeman a tweet, could save us a lot of dollar if Sharp steps up and bangs in 20+ this season.
Mouldy Coat Posted 11 July, 2014 Posted 11 July, 2014 More chance of getting sh1t out a rocking horse mate

Jimmy_D Posted 11 July, 2014 Posted 11 July, 2014 Yes, they did. Plenty on here questioned if he could step up. I remember opposition fans singing 'What a waste of money' during his first game for us
disconnect Posted 11 July, 2014 Posted 11 July, 2014 RK - Pelle deal is close hopefully this weekend Sounded like it's pretty much definitely happening.
SO16_Saint Posted 11 July, 2014 Posted 11 July, 2014 Sounded like it's pretty much definitely happening. it did. Very happy about that.
sentry Posted 11 July, 2014 Posted 11 July, 2014 My current girlfriend is always my favourite one. Your current girlfriend is my fav too.
RobM Posted 11 July, 2014 Posted 11 July, 2014 RK - Pelle deal is close hopefully this weekend Great news, but I wish he hadn't said anything like this. While it's nice to hear, we can hardly moan about other teams talking about deals for our players before they're complete, if we're doing exactly that ourselves!
Colinjb Posted 11 July, 2014 Posted 11 July, 2014 Great news, but I wish he hadn't said anything like this. While it's nice to hear, we can hardly moan about other teams talking about deals for our players before they're complete, if we're doing exactly that ourselves! A fair point. But I'm enjoying the fact that he has the presence and confidence to be that direct and assertive. We are a Premier League team with money to spend and excellent infrastructure, it's good that we are finally acting like it.

Wiggles31 Posted 11 July, 2014 Posted 11 July, 2014 Dare we sticky this thread? Anyway a good signing. Great goal scoring record.
Saint Charlie Posted 11 July, 2014 Posted 11 July, 2014 Looks like someone who will take chances in and around the area. Up to the rest of the team to create those chances for him.
Fork Handles Posted 11 July, 2014 Posted 11 July, 2014 As a further plus…replace Whittingham with some nobody Pompey have signed on loan and Pochettino with Graziano….great song saved
Dalek2003 Posted 11 July, 2014 Posted 11 July, 2014 RK - Pelle deal is close hopefully this weekend Where is the source of information. Just that I don't want to get my hopes up. Rumours up here that we are in for 2 Norwich players, Ruddy and ?

Window Cleaner Posted 11 July, 2014 Posted 11 July, 2014 Where is the source of information. Just that I don't want to get my hopes up. Rumours up here that we are in for 2 Norwich players, Ruddy and ? This can be explained by the fact that the club is known to have money and Norwich fans think that they have good players which they believe they should sell to us, happens every time a club has money coming in from transfers or a new investor.
Viking Warrior Posted 11 July, 2014 Posted 11 July, 2014 Dalek2003 Pelle from shergars mouth . Sometime this weekend I believe Guans Sunday supplement due in 48 hours as well Oh happy days oh happy days
Silly Season Posted 11 July, 2014 Posted 11 July, 2014 "@KuipTalk Unlike other players not in the squad, Pelle is not even present at the game. Finishing the Southampton deal?" This is from their friendly tonight.
buctootim Posted 11 July, 2014 Posted 11 July, 2014 I reckon Lovren will stay. Cant see him giving up the chance to see Pelle naked
