To compliment the Southampton Way I hear we are opening a new training facility in northern Iraq, near the Turkish boarder; The Southampton Kurds.

The plan is the develop good young players that form the basis of the first team. This has been going better than anyone could have hoped. There are plenty of great talents to come too.

 

We will lose some, like nearly every club in the world.

 

We have 2 choices.

 

1) Keep doing it, reinvest and patiently grow the club long term.

 

2) Throw our toys out the pram and give up at the first set back.

 

I expect the forum to mostly understand 1, but the childish, embarrassing minority to be more vocal and start many threads.
