Batman Posted 24 June, 2014 Posted 24 June, 2014 (edited) Does Wilshere ever look up ffs? the trouble is (and been for far too long) we keeping picking too many players from the benches of the top 4. why on earth we never took another right back is beyond me. is curtis davis really that much worse than smalling or clyne as a right back? wilshere barely plays for arsenal these days, hence why he is not very sharp is cork really that much worse than cleverly to not even make a single squad let alone the reserve list huddlestone, delph have also had good seasons. they may not be top players, but the direction we have been going....well, how has that worked out. most of these players have talent. Jones, Wilshere, Barkley, Welbeck. Just that 3 of those rarely start for their sides. they should be told, you need to be regular starters for the sake of your own careers, let along your england one Edited 24 June, 2014 by Batman
Graffito Posted 24 June, 2014 Posted 24 June, 2014 oh whats his name....ex leeds defender...bald guy...went to japan and south korea wc Edit: danny mills Ah yes. The one who used to bang his head against the dressing room wall to get in the mood.
SO16_Saint Posted 24 June, 2014 Posted 24 June, 2014 Great play between shaw and lallana who crossed well
SO16_Saint Posted 24 June, 2014 Posted 24 June, 2014 Barclay was going down about a second before the impact there
Bakovnetski Posted 24 June, 2014 Posted 24 June, 2014 Lallana off for sterling Ads has not set the world alight
SO16_Saint Posted 24 June, 2014 Posted 24 June, 2014 FFS he's missed again. Wasn't that a Phil Collins song?
igsey Posted 24 June, 2014 Posted 24 June, 2014 Sturridge shooting when he could have given Sterling a tap in! Luke Shaw has been excellent, Lallana may have had more luck if the rest of the team passed to him when he was in space, rather than to Wilshire surrounded by players.
bpsaint Posted 24 June, 2014 Posted 24 June, 2014 Suarez would have had a hat-trick by now, that's the difference between Sturridge and a world class striker.
TwoPints Posted 24 June, 2014 Posted 24 June, 2014 Wasn't that a Phil Collins song? It is becoming a bit of a chorus for this game.
alpine_saint Posted 24 June, 2014 Posted 24 June, 2014 F**k me, England are awful...... Have they trained at all the last month ? Cant pass, cant retain posession, too many touches. It's f**king embarassing. Our (ex-)players have been sh*te, but f**k me, Wilshire is absolutely abysmal.

SO16_Saint Posted 24 June, 2014 Posted 24 June, 2014 wtf is Gerrard coming on for Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk

angelman Posted 24 June, 2014 Posted 24 June, 2014 We aren't a cohesive team at all. Not sure where the biggest problem is. Is it: 1) Our **** poor defence 2) Our ineffective midfield, who usually have no idea who to pass it to 3) Our lack of a decent striker? Of course there are the odd flashes of great play, but over all, this is Championship level stuff. (well that might be an exaggeration but I feel an embellishment is justified due to the lack of entertainment).
Batman Posted 24 June, 2014 Posted 24 June, 2014 And yet still light years ahead of four years ago. are we?
angelman Posted 24 June, 2014 Posted 24 June, 2014 PS I found watching the Americans and Australians more entertaining than watching England.

Batman Posted 24 June, 2014 Posted 24 June, 2014 sorry, but roy is a **** rooney on with gerrard what is the point
SO16_Saint Posted 24 June, 2014 Posted 24 June, 2014 Jimmy 0 runs off 35 balls is impressive Ali 4 away from 100
TwoPints Posted 24 June, 2014 Posted 24 June, 2014 feel so sorry for Lambert He hasn't been given a chance at this world cup. Real shame for him.
BotleySaint Posted 24 June, 2014 Posted 24 June, 2014 I do feel sorry for Rickie. Betrayed really by Roy. Surely he deserved the last 10 here. Might have even created something. Idiot manager
Barry the Badger Posted 24 June, 2014 Posted 24 June, 2014 Surely Lambert must have a knock. Seems harsh otherwise.
Lighthouse Posted 24 June, 2014 Posted 24 June, 2014 Lambert must be injured I'd have thought. No reason Roy would give everyone else a run out but not him.
alpine_saint Posted 24 June, 2014 Posted 24 June, 2014 wtf is Gerrard coming on for Oh, you are joking............. England is a joke of a big club clique. Big club players wont pass to small club players, buddy-buddy bullsh*t about selection in the first place. I havent been more pessimistic about England since Stuttgart 1988.
Bobbyboy Posted 24 June, 2014 Posted 24 June, 2014 Gaston on for Uruguay That's the first thing today that made me interested in the World Cup. I mean Rooney and Gerrard coming on as subs? Really?
alpine_saint Posted 24 June, 2014 Posted 24 June, 2014 Rooney  I give up. FFS. Even if him, Lampard and Gerrard formation-prance the ball into the net, its just papering over the cracks (but it will be enough for the tabloids, no doubt..)
SO16_Saint Posted 24 June, 2014 Posted 24 June, 2014 Italy going home too as it stands Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk
Graffito Posted 24 June, 2014 Posted 24 June, 2014 If he's going to make substitutions based on sentiment then why not Lambert.
angelman Posted 24 June, 2014 Posted 24 June, 2014 I would like to think that if we came home with our tales between our legs having lost 3 games, that it would lead to change. But having come back from South Africa chastised, nothing changed, so I don't expect any changes to come after our return from Brazil. More soul searching and the conclusion that players have to have CL experience so only players from the top 6 will be chosen.
alpine_saint Posted 24 June, 2014 Posted 24 June, 2014 Sweet. Not only are the Italians going home, but Gashy has just added a bit to his value.
SO16_Saint Posted 24 June, 2014 Posted 24 June, 2014 Actually want CRC to score to put more pressure on Italy (and Roy) Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk
