Raging Bull Posted 19 June, 2014 Posted 19 June, 2014 Neil Lennon has just said we've signed him from Celtic
farawaysaint Posted 19 June, 2014 Posted 19 June, 2014 Neil Lennon has just said we've signed him from Celtic Honest question but how would he know since parting company with Celtic?
Lets B Avenue Posted 19 June, 2014 Posted 19 June, 2014 Neil Lennon has just said we've signed him from Celtic no he didn't. He mentioned Celtic players he had managed and after Van Dijk he said "and Victor Wanyama, who is now at Southampton."
SuperSAINT Posted 19 June, 2014 Posted 19 June, 2014 Being optimistic, but maybe he left because he knew they would sell key players and not re-invest the money?
Lallana's Left Peg Posted 19 June, 2014 Posted 19 June, 2014 no he didn't. He mentioned Celtic players he had managed and after Van Dijk he said "and Victor Wanyama, who is now at Southampton." I agree. He's he referring to Wanyama being at Southampton in that case. That is how it reads.
Batman Posted 19 June, 2014 Posted 19 June, 2014 Honest question but how would he know since parting company with Celtic? do you not think he would know a great deal still. i doubt people leave clubs and never talk to anyone again
100%Red&White Posted 19 June, 2014 Posted 19 June, 2014 Neil Lennon has just said we've signed him from Celtic That'll upset some scousers. Although it would probably mean Lovren is on the move, there was a link to the Liverpool Echo on another thread and it was said on there that they'd prefer Van Dijk to Dejan. Good news if true, in an ideal world, in addition to Lovren and Fonte.
Mallagroth Posted 19 June, 2014 Posted 19 June, 2014 (edited) Wait... what? Why would we be humming wanyama again, and what's it go to do with Virgil Lennon.? Edited 19 June, 2014 by Mallagroth
Lets B Avenue Posted 19 June, 2014 Posted 19 June, 2014 Wait... what? Why would we be singing wanyama again, and what's it go to do with Virgil Lennon.? What did you "sing" about Wanyama last year?
charliemiller Posted 19 June, 2014 Posted 19 June, 2014 Hope so , I am told by a Celtic mate he is awesome and has loads of potential to improve ...good signing and will play well as the middle Defender in a three that pushes out .
Mallagroth Posted 19 June, 2014 Posted 19 June, 2014 (edited) What did you "sing" about Wanyama last year? don't misquote me please Edited 19 June, 2014 by Mallagroth
Toon Saint Posted 19 June, 2014 Posted 19 June, 2014 So what did he actually say? Neil Lennon? He was asked what players he most enjoyed working with by some Brazilian fan of Celtic. Mentioned Fraser Forster, then Virgil, then Wanyama 'who is now at Southampton'. Did not say anything about Virgil van Dijk being a Saints player.

Bearsy Posted 19 June, 2014 Posted 19 June, 2014 Cheers. Close thread then! Erm don't think so Raging Bull is one of the most respected ITK on this site, if he says something you would be wise to listen

John Boy Saint Posted 19 June, 2014 Posted 19 June, 2014 Erm don't think so Raging Bull is one of the most respected ITK on this site, if he says something you would be wise to listen ............... and make him shift from buttock to buttock whilst he sits typing in uncomfortable embarrassment!
SO16_Saint Posted 19 June, 2014 Posted 19 June, 2014 I think Raging Bull has been on the sauce, been watching a bit of Diagnosis Murder, and got over excited when **** Van Dyke came on
