City away would be brilliant - anything can happen in the first few games, so would much prefer that then against someone like Leicester.

I'd rather wait a bit for Spuds at home, give Big Ron the chance to stamp his mark on the team before we give the Spuds a good hiding. I'd take City away to start, or a nice straight forward home game like West Ham to get us off the mark.

Hopefully Jay Rod might be back around the time when the games get tougher, would be a nice boost.

 

Last season we were so well prepped going into the first game with a great preseason and two key signings done.

 

Will be tough to do the same this year.
