angelman Posted 19 June, 2014 Posted 19 June, 2014 20 minutes in and the whinging starts. Maybe whinging, but I am bored ****less watching this and thinking of going to do some gardening. But....will stay just in case we do score.
alpine_saint Posted 19 June, 2014 Posted 19 June, 2014 But you want us to lose so you should be happy. I know. I think its the realisation of just how much those lazy useless pr*cks are earning and how much undeserved adulation they get.
alpine_saint Posted 19 June, 2014 Posted 19 June, 2014 Maybe whinging, but I am bored ****less watching this and thinking of going to do some gardening. But....will stay just in case we do score. I'm off to find a pot of gloss paint and a door.........
alpine_saint Posted 19 June, 2014 Posted 19 June, 2014 My son just told the Austrian commentator is talking the p*ss out of England something rotten. Every other comment is about money and the Premier League.
tedmaul Posted 19 June, 2014 Posted 19 June, 2014 My son just told the Austrian commentator is talking the p*ss out of England something rotten. Every other comment is about money and the Premier League. Isn't there a door to paint or something?
igsey Posted 19 June, 2014 Posted 19 June, 2014 Congratulations to Wayne Rooney on managing to miss from about 10cm out. Just saying, Rickie Lambert scores that.
farawaysaint Posted 19 June, 2014 Posted 19 June, 2014 Isn't there a door to paint or something? Oh, leave Alps alone, he's right about this game.
Dr Who? Posted 19 June, 2014 Posted 19 June, 2014 Congratulations to Wayne Rooney on managing to miss from about 10cm out. Just saying, Rickie Lambert scores that. Yep he would have got that in no problem!
farawaysaint Posted 19 June, 2014 Posted 19 June, 2014 Congratulations to Wayne Rooney on managing to miss from about 10cm out. Just saying, Rickie Lambert scores that. Ah, nuts, what did I miss
igsey Posted 19 June, 2014 Posted 19 June, 2014 Hodgson out. Rodgers in. Why on Earth would he leave Liverpool to be England manager? That's like MoPo leaving us for Charlton.
K,Billy's supersound Posted 19 June, 2014 Posted 19 June, 2014 Gotta say Wellbeck and Gerrard are awesome.
alpine_saint Posted 19 June, 2014 Posted 19 June, 2014 Undone by sheer quality.. Theirs, or our lack thereof ?
farawaysaint Posted 19 June, 2014 Posted 19 June, 2014 Be interesting if 3 of the world's top 10 bow out at the group stages.
bazza Posted 19 June, 2014 Posted 19 June, 2014 Don't panic, there's not much in this. I'm confident you can still win it. Uruguay aren't great.
Batman Posted 19 June, 2014 Author Posted 19 June, 2014 How is welbeck on that pitch. What does he do Rooney is miles from world class stabdard
SaintRobbie Posted 19 June, 2014 Posted 19 June, 2014 Liverpool look **** tonight. That new Real Madrid striker looks good though.
TwoPints Posted 19 June, 2014 Posted 19 June, 2014 Lallana on for Sterling for me... Might manage to retain the ball a bit then! Shaw on for Baines and Lambert on for Sturridge that should do it.
S-Clarke Posted 19 June, 2014 Posted 19 June, 2014 This is all a bit ****, really. Laboured, half-arsed, slow. There's just nothing there. The only bit of urgency were a few **** corners after they scored, good stuff. Would make some calls and bring Lambert, Lallana and Barkley on. Why not? Henderson looks out of his depth, Rooney and Welbeck have been tosh. Still confused to how Welbeck gets so many minutes in a world cup. But the reality is that players like Jagilka, Baines and Welbeck are sub-standard and we end up carrying them. I'm also still trying to work out which world class players Lallana is enjoying training with? I'm pretty sure we have more in our squad at Staplewood.
saintds Posted 19 June, 2014 Posted 19 June, 2014 It's time to get Lallana, Lambo and Luke Leftback on. The Liverpool way isn't working, time to inject a bit of South Coast in this bunch of c*nts (before Lambo forgets it).
SaintRobbie Posted 19 June, 2014 Posted 19 June, 2014 Lambert required for Rooney - we're getting corners.
Professor Posted 19 June, 2014 Posted 19 June, 2014 England's passing is very poor and their error ratio is high. Am I spoilt by watching the Saints.........
iansums Posted 19 June, 2014 Posted 19 June, 2014 Did anyone really expect us to do much better than this? Lallana, Barkley and Lambert on for Welbeck, Rooney and Sturridge.
GarrettIvo Posted 19 June, 2014 Posted 19 June, 2014 I only watch England to see if Saints players will get on the park. But I can't see a position where you would say they've been any good. Sterling has offered a little but aside from that. Utter pants everywhere you look.
S-Clarke Posted 19 June, 2014 Posted 19 June, 2014 England's passing is very poor and their error ratio is high. Am I spoilt by watching the Saints......... Most teams retain the ball better. We're just ****. Hoof it is the way.
BlakeySFC Posted 19 June, 2014 Posted 19 June, 2014 (edited) England are out of the World Cup. No way in hell we're getting back in this game. Roy hasn't got the balls to bring on anyone that'll turn the game around, it'll finish 2-0 Uruguay. Edited 19 June, 2014 by BlakeySFC
lifeintheslowlane Posted 19 June, 2014 Posted 19 June, 2014 If this was served up at St Marys the place would be empty. Pedestrian...unable to retain the ball...no shots on target. Get our lads on!
alpine_saint Posted 19 June, 2014 Posted 19 June, 2014 I'm also still trying to work out which world class players Lallana is enjoying training with? I'm pretty sure we have more in our squad at Staplewood. At least he's probably going to be grateful getting back to SMS after this sh*t. Why does the BBC keep reminding us that England arent necessarily out if they lose today ? Does anybody think we will get a result against Costa Rica on the strength of these performances and these 11 players who clearly have the impression they will be playing come what may and the other 12 are just along for the sunshine and the samba?
svetigpung Posted 19 June, 2014 Posted 19 June, 2014 Our back 4 are sh1tting themselves tonight! Get Wellbeck and Henderson off the pitch. Then are pants. Wilshire and Lalla on.
Polaroid Saint Posted 19 June, 2014 Posted 19 June, 2014 It's time to get Lallana, Lambo and Luke Leftback on. The Liverpool way isn't working, time to inject a bit of South Coast in this bunch of c*nts (before Lambo forgets it). Aye! Those are the positions England are struggling too. Makes sense on all fronts. Come on Roy! Do it. Or we'll take your parking space away.
alpine_saint Posted 19 June, 2014 Posted 19 June, 2014 Most teams retain the ball better. We're just ****. Hoof it is the way. Can you therefor explain why three players from the team who had the highest possession in the Premier League last season arent getting even a sniff ?
doddisalegend Posted 19 June, 2014 Posted 19 June, 2014 Never thought I'd wish I was Chilean they are a great team playing great football really entertaining against Spain. England don't seem to have an identity as team ...unless hopeful punts, running into players and losing the ball and **** set pieces are our style. More average football in the second half followed by Suarez scoring his only chance on goal I reckon.
S-Clarke Posted 19 June, 2014 Posted 19 June, 2014 Our back 4 are sh1tting themselves tonight! Get Wellbeck and Henderson off the pitch. Then are pants. Wilshire and Lalla on. Why wiltshire? What's he ever done? Don't get him, seems a nothing player. Would rather gamble with an unknown like Barkley.
Wes Tender Posted 19 June, 2014 Posted 19 June, 2014 Bloody typical! Their captain Godin shouldn't be on the pitch. Already on a yellow and then he has his arm across our player's neck to stop a run into the box. No doubt at all it was the second yellow. And so the poor refereeing continues. Mind you, we are crap and the passing is wayward and the Uruguans are winning most of the ball in midfield. Going the way of Spain unless we buck our ideas up. Lambert would have had that header that Rooney got under. Stirling nor Baines aren't showing better than Shaw or Lallana would have so far.
