Window Cleaner Posted 12 June, 2014 Share Posted 12 June, 2014 Bruce is a manager in one of Europe's top leagues. So you could get away with calling him a top european manager, just most of us wouldn't say it with a straight face. most of us don't have a Les Reed mentality, I didn't look at the video, just read the piece about it on the OS this morning, he really says nothing except that we've had a lot of interest from a lot of people who've done well in football. He then goes on about our manager identification system, there's nothing definite in anything he says really................de l'esbroufe.

Tokyo-Saint Posted 12 June, 2014 Share Posted 12 June, 2014 Pretty much it bear. Got 40-1 on the Swiss guy so thought that was worth a go and then a bit on the Cow man as a kind of hedge. To be honest, I won a load on the Froch Groves fight so took out half and had the rest burning a hole in my internet pocket. Spending it all on the world cup. 14-1 on Messi being the top goal scorer isn't bad as they have like Bhutan and Nepal in their group.

doddisalegend Posted 12 June, 2014 Share Posted 12 June, 2014 If it is Tuchel, maybe the 'paperwork' was discussion with Mainz over compensation ? http://www.bundesliga.com/en/liga/news/2013/0000294912.php "Tuchel will neither receive a salary from the club, who have already appointed ex-FC Nordsjælland tactician Kasper Hjulmand as his successor, nor be in a position to take on a new job elsewhere without the 05ers' explicit permission, until his existing deal expires on 30 June 2015. Any club looking to appoint the 40-year-old in the meantime would have to recompense Mainz for his services." That's pretty harsh they aren't going to pay him but his not allowed to find a new job either. I guess they don't want him going to another bundesliga side but wouldn't have a poblem with him joining a side elsewhere.

ART Posted 12 June, 2014 Share Posted 12 June, 2014 Tomorrow is not only Friday the 13th but also the FULL MOON! A project/new job will best succeed if it is started/signed before the Full Moon. Frmer have sown their crops in this way for centuries. Often it will fail, not be a success if started/signed after the Full Moon. Pochettino, left and signed for Spuds after last months Full Moon. Not a very auspicious timing for him and his buddies. As long as the Club and the new Manager have signed bore Saturday morning it will be a good move for Saints. The announcement can come later. If not, they'd better wait till after the next New Moon. RE: René GIRARD. 2 years ago when he left Montpellier after winning the league, I wrote to Nicola recommending him as Academy Director. I also posted here on the forum and had WC say he'd not be interested in working in the UK. My post was after a radio interview locally where René stated he'd love to work in the UK. He is an excellent coach of the Georges Prost mold. He has brought through many a youngster such as Olivier Giroud, and the Montpellier League winning players. He's someone who'd do a fantastic job at Saints. Sadly, despite energy levels of someone 20 years younger, he may not fit Reed;s profile for the new manager.l
Frank's cousin Posted 12 June, 2014 Share Posted 12 June, 2014 TBH, not fussed 'Who' the new man is form a name perspective - MP showed that getting players to buy into what we are trying to build, style etc, is more about how they gto aout it, than 'who' they are. For me, the key is that w eget someone willinga nd able to continue building on the style and approach we set out under Pards... Nigel .... MP etc where each was able to build on the foundations laid by the previous - in effect a major reason for our progress and relative success has been that 'CONTINUITY' - not in name but in style of play with incremental improvements - and with a squad that his getting tighter all the time. Tuchel seems ideal to me, given he is considered to be simialr to Klopp as well... soudn squite exciting

Bearsy Posted 12 June, 2014 Share Posted 12 June, 2014 Erm Moon Law is not nonsense MarkSFC, your comments betray ur ignorance. This week is before Full Moon, which is luck, and good for starting new projects. Next week is after Full Moon, which is bad. You can bet that the club are looking at this for all that you consider it "nonsense" luckily they will act more responsibly. Where is the up-side in taking risks with Moon Law?
