fanimal Posted 8 June, 2014 Posted 8 June, 2014 Bearing in mind the latest Argentinian team protest about the Falklands, how about; Malvinas, no oh oh, Malvinas, no oh oh; He went to Tottenham, he won't be there for long, Pochettino, oh oh oh, Pochettino, no oh oh!
SaintRobbie Posted 8 June, 2014 Posted 8 June, 2014 Bad that. Surely FIFA have to take action over the Argentine football team for political statements?
farawaysaint Posted 8 June, 2014 Posted 8 June, 2014 Bad that. Surely FIFA have to take action over the Argentine football team for political statements? It's apparently unfurled before many of their international matches, why would they start punishing it now?
S-Clarke Posted 8 June, 2014 Posted 8 June, 2014 Or we could just support our own team? there's a thought.
Saint Charlie Posted 8 June, 2014 Posted 8 June, 2014 Maybe just give him the decent reception he deserves then move on.
Saint Garrett Posted 8 June, 2014 Posted 8 June, 2014 I appreciate what he did here. Will probably get no reaction or a small clap from me.
cellone Posted 8 June, 2014 Posted 8 June, 2014 I appreciate what he did here. Will probably get no reaction or a small clap from me. This without the clap.
Whitey Grandad Posted 8 June, 2014 Posted 8 June, 2014 This without the clap. Me too. I might applaud with one hand.
Miltonaggro Posted 8 June, 2014 Posted 8 June, 2014 Me too. I might applaud with one hand. I for one hope he gets the clap...
Delboy Dave Posted 8 June, 2014 Posted 8 June, 2014 Clapping him? Are you serious? That's like giving your ex missus a kiss on the cheek after she's left you for a better looking bloke with more money! But I bet some of you wet blankets would be "thankful" while she was with you
Bakovnetski Posted 8 June, 2014 Posted 8 June, 2014 Depending on the fixture list next season he may be sacked by Levy for not being in the top 4 before he comes to St Marys
Heisenberg Posted 8 June, 2014 Posted 8 June, 2014 Clapping him? Are you serious? That's like giving your ex missus a kiss on the cheek after she's left you for a better looking bloke with more money! But I bet some of you wet blankets would be "thankful" while she was with you so true
waggy Posted 8 June, 2014 Posted 8 June, 2014 Depending on the fixture list next season he may be sacked by Levy for not being in the top 4 before he comes to St Marys With the current revolving door policy at both clubs we'll probably just do a mutual exchange for RK
Block34 Posted 8 June, 2014 Posted 8 June, 2014 Human League - Don't you want me Lol, now that could be quite good! Don't you want us Poochy Don't you want us no oh oh oh! (not that he was a cocktail waitress though )
WealdSaint Posted 8 June, 2014 Posted 8 June, 2014 As I said on another thread, I'm hoping after beating them we can sing "sacked in the morning"
buctootim Posted 8 June, 2014 Posted 8 June, 2014 Wasn't there a Dolly Parton song "I'm Glad You've gone you Horse **** Son of a *****, don't come back (honey)"?
red&white56 Posted 8 June, 2014 Posted 8 June, 2014 Yes, I appreciate what he did while he was here, but he walked out on us.................... Why the hell would I applaud him back??? I'm definitely up for some booing, but will forgo that if there's is a decent chant.
SaintRobbie Posted 8 June, 2014 Posted 8 June, 2014 It's apparently unfurled before many of their international matches, why would they start punishing it now? I see - makes sense.
ringwood Posted 8 June, 2014 Posted 8 June, 2014 Depending on the fixture list next season he may be sacked by Levy for not being in the top 4 before he comes to St Marys this
scotty Posted 8 June, 2014 Posted 8 June, 2014 As I said on another thread, I'm hoping after beating them we can sing "sacked in the morning" That would be sweet.
Roger Posted 8 June, 2014 Posted 8 June, 2014 Maybe just give him the decent reception he deserves then move on. How? He left us and strung us along.
SuperMikey Posted 8 June, 2014 Posted 8 June, 2014 He did also get us our best ever Premier League finish tbf. We may have been used as a stepping stone, but so what? We're in a better position now than we were when he took over. Have to recognise what he achieved with us - even if he did jump ship to the first chequebook waved at him. Give him a little clap, and then a big chorus of "RONALD KOEMAN/MURAT YAKIN/GLENN HODDLE'S RED AND WHITE ARMY"
swannymere Posted 9 June, 2014 Posted 9 June, 2014 If we do the traditional muppet thing of deciding that anyone who leaves is the enemy we'll put off people wanting to join us, i mean is everyone under the delusion that players with talent and ambition see us as anything other than a stepping stone? Is that too much of a problem if we get a decent transfer fee? As for the Argentines and the Falklands banner, no other country really gives a toss, it must rank currently quite low down in peoples thoughts for potential conflicts.
Griffo Posted 9 June, 2014 Posted 9 June, 2014 Clapping him? Are you serious? That's like giving your ex missus a kiss on the cheek after she's left you for a better looking bloke with more money! But I bet some of you wet blankets would be "thankful" while she was with you Spot on. I'll be booing.
Heisenberg Posted 9 June, 2014 Posted 9 June, 2014 He did also get us our best ever Premier League finish tbf. He also had our best premiership team ever at his disposal tbf. Plus Strachan finishing 8th + cup final trumps anything pooch delivered for us.
buctootim Posted 9 June, 2014 Posted 9 June, 2014 "you can stick ur lego haircut up ur arse" You reckon twas a wig?
Toussaint Posted 9 June, 2014 Posted 9 June, 2014 Maybe just give him the decent reception he deserves then move on. But he doesn't deserve a decent reception, he is a contemptible man. But I do have to credit him with being a great deceiver, he certainly seems to have vast numbers under his spell.
Wurzel Posted 9 June, 2014 Posted 9 June, 2014 For a song to be loud enough for him to hear it has to be a catchy tune that spreads quickly. That's going to prove awkward when it has to stop and pause at the end of every line whilst it gets translated for him
Gemmel Posted 9 June, 2014 Posted 9 June, 2014 For a song to be loud enough for him to hear it has to be a catchy tune that spreads quickly. That's going to prove awkward when it has to stop and pause at the end of every line whilst it gets translated for him It will be the old 80's song.... Stayed at Southampton, you should have stayed at Southampton
Brizzie Saints Posted 9 June, 2014 Posted 9 June, 2014 Now GO! Walk out that door dont turn around coz your not welcome anymore Weren't you the one who tried to break us with goodbyes? you think we'd crumble? Did you think we'd lay down and die? Oh no not us, we will survive blah blah blah
Halo Stickman Posted 9 June, 2014 Posted 9 June, 2014 For a song to be loud enough for him to hear it has to be a catchy tune that spreads quickly. That's going to prove awkward when it has to stop and pause at the end of every line whilst it gets translated for him How about: Mopo is a c*nt (translate) Mopo is a c*nt (translate) Ee aye addio (translate) Mopo is a c*nt (translate) Alternatively, the f*cker can translate it himself.
Toussaint Posted 9 June, 2014 Posted 9 June, 2014 How about: Mopo is a c*nt (translate) Mopo is a c*nt (translate) Ee aye addio (translate) Mopo is a c*nt (translate) Alternatively, the f*cker can translate it himself. That works on many levels, it can also be adapted, whereby Mopo could be substituted with Lalla, or any other snivelling little rats name for that matter. I like it, you have my full backing, good work!
Monkou Posted 9 June, 2014 Posted 9 June, 2014 Spurs is a bigger job than us. Most people are ambitious and want to better themselves. Probably he knew that the owner did not want to make a serious top 4 push whereas spurs do. Can´t blame him for going at all. No doubt some idiot fans (football has plenty) will still boo or sing songs that are not as funny or clever as they think but hey ho.. that's English football.
Rasiak-9- Posted 10 June, 2014 Posted 10 June, 2014 Spurs is a bigger job than us. Most people are ambitious and want to better themselves. No doubt some idiot fans (football has plenty) will still boo or sing songs that are not as funny or clever as they think but hey ho.. that's English football. This. The attitude displayed in this thread is exactly why other teams are calling our fans arrogant and delusional. If you were offered a higher profile job that paid you more money what would you do? The most annoying thing is that the Spurs fans I know have been desperate to see us as being annoyed that they've taken Pochettino and would really, really like to think we're incredibly gutted about it. The funniest thing is when I tell them that I'm not bothered at all and that 8th place wasn't really any sort of overachievement with the players we had at our disposal they're incredibly frustrated. Its a lot like in the Simpson where the bullies take Bart's junior campers outfit, throw it around for a game of keep-away and Bart just shrugs and walks off. Jimbo then grabs him and says "You better pretend that you want it back!"
Halo Stickman Posted 10 June, 2014 Posted 10 June, 2014 Whilst I agree that the example of an employee leaving one job for another one that pays more money is a rational and valid comparison the truth is that football is an irrational and passionate beast. Therefore, for many people, a more pertinent comparison is that of a wife leaving her husband for another bloke who has more money.
Mowgli Posted 10 June, 2014 Posted 10 June, 2014 What's it like to be Tottenham What's it like to be ****e We've got Koeman* You've got Pochettino *hopefully!

adrian lord Posted 10 June, 2014 Posted 10 June, 2014 As I said on another thread, I'm hoping after beating them we can sing "sacked in the morning" That's the spirit.
