Graffito Posted 7 June, 2014 Posted 7 June, 2014 Shame Hoddle didn't think as much as about Le Tiss as he does Lallana. He's right about Lallana though. He's a pivot. ****ing use him.
Mallagroth Posted 7 June, 2014 Posted 7 June, 2014 I like to think that our squad has had their Brazil training and this is very much Roy's preparation for us and for 23:00 kick offs on a saturday. in Wodgson we trust
Saint_clark Posted 7 June, 2014 Posted 7 June, 2014 Rooney and Gerrard off, Barkley and Wilshere on. I bet we look a lot better in this second half.
Saint Billy Posted 7 June, 2014 Posted 7 June, 2014 Wiltshere the midfield magician starting 2nd half, lets hope he can stay on his feet for at least two minutes.
SaintRobbie Posted 7 June, 2014 Posted 7 June, 2014 Americans are already making Adam Lallana outfits for the world cup I see...
Mallagroth Posted 7 June, 2014 Posted 7 June, 2014 Wiltshere the midfield magician starting 2nd half, lets hope he can stay on his feet for at least two minutes. haha. This. Even in training he was shown clips on his arse.
Mallagroth Posted 7 June, 2014 Posted 7 June, 2014 Barkley already looking more of a threat than Rooney What I like is that Barkley is unafraid to go for it. This also often leads to it not working out but this is what I would like Lallana to do a little more as he has so far seemed a little reticent to use the skill he has to unlock. Edit: Beer grammar, but hopefully you know what i meant.
BotleySaint Posted 7 June, 2014 Posted 7 June, 2014 You wonder how Welbeck made it as a footballer sometimes (cue goal by him?)
Saint Billy Posted 7 June, 2014 Posted 7 June, 2014 You wonder how Welbeck made it as a footballer sometimes (cue goal by him?) Can we broaden this out a little.
CB Saint Posted 7 June, 2014 Posted 7 June, 2014 Did they just say this is the first choice 11? God help us
Whitey Grandad Posted 7 June, 2014 Posted 7 June, 2014 You wonder how Welbeck made it as a footballer sometimes (cue goal by him?) Too selfish, won't pass the ball.
Batman Posted 7 June, 2014 Posted 7 June, 2014 I can seriously see it beings shoot out between Lallana and Rooney for a starting spot as Barkley is going to make the player in the hole position his own
BotleySaint Posted 7 June, 2014 Posted 7 June, 2014 Too selfish, won't pass the ball. Just doesn't seem to ever have it under control..
SaintRobbie Posted 7 June, 2014 Posted 7 June, 2014 The hopes of a nation are based on League 1 football.
Noodles34 Posted 7 June, 2014 Posted 7 June, 2014 Barclay looks like a young Rooney, very good. Why Liverpool would want Lallana over him is beyond me. His movement compared to Lallana is embarrassing,, though Lallana seems to have had to give his position to him, seems to have been pushed out wide right now.
Saint Billy Posted 7 June, 2014 Posted 7 June, 2014 The hopes of a nation are based on League 1 football. lol
SaintRobbie Posted 7 June, 2014 Posted 7 June, 2014 Lallanas changed. (Even though he didn't touch him)
Noodles34 Posted 7 June, 2014 Posted 7 June, 2014 Lambert to come on and score the winner ?? He won't come on, saving him for Italy
Saint Billy Posted 7 June, 2014 Posted 7 June, 2014 Its reassuring that in times of trouble we have a plethora of game changers on the bench.
Noodles34 Posted 7 June, 2014 Posted 7 June, 2014 Is Woy Hodgson desperate to pick his nose? Works for the German manager
Mallagroth Posted 7 June, 2014 Posted 7 June, 2014 lallana… I was referencing his **** control and bad pass
Batman Posted 7 June, 2014 Posted 7 June, 2014 Think wilshere has done well since coming on. Nice neat short passes keeping the ball. Far less Hollywood balls now 'stevie' is off
Saint Billy Posted 7 June, 2014 Posted 7 June, 2014 Hey, we mig win this ne now Just rolled one have we?
Goatboy Posted 7 June, 2014 Posted 7 June, 2014 Is Woy Hodgson desperate to pick his nose? I'd rather pick that than pick Glen Johnson.
SaintRobbie Posted 7 June, 2014 Posted 7 June, 2014 There has been one major lesson for England from this game. England's first strip should be Red.
Mallagroth Posted 7 June, 2014 Posted 7 June, 2014 Think wilshere has done well since coming on. Nice neat short passes keeping the ball. Far less Hollywood balls now 'stevie' is off True actually never thought about it like that.
Whitey Grandad Posted 7 June, 2014 Posted 7 June, 2014 Its reassuring that in times of trouble we have a plethora of game changers on the bench. You can never have too many plethoras.
Batman Posted 7 June, 2014 Posted 7 June, 2014 Very poor again from Lallana Seriously, I can see him being dropped. Rooney will not be dropped but will be shoved out wide with Barkley coming in. Be it against Italy or Uruguay
Mallagroth Posted 7 June, 2014 Posted 7 June, 2014 You can never have too many plethoras. Agree both have done great at CB for Honduras
Noodles34 Posted 7 June, 2014 Posted 7 June, 2014 I would sum up Lalllana tonight, he has been as good as he has been bad.
SNSUN Posted 7 June, 2014 Posted 7 June, 2014 Lallana - all fart, no shyt. So claims my wife as she trots off to bed...
Saint Billy Posted 7 June, 2014 Posted 7 June, 2014 You can never have too many plethoras. Depends how many you smoke.
Noodles34 Posted 7 June, 2014 Posted 7 June, 2014 Sturridge, too many chances missed . Compare that to Lambert last time?
