At the end of every season most clubs send their players away with a set programme of what condition they expect them to return to pre season training in. In our case going on snippets that have come out about the finite details that we are supposed to apply to player condition through the season, now that Pochettino and his posse have left the building has the sports science department who monitor player condition gone with him, or is that a separate entity within SFC linked to Southampton University.

You can imagine for some weak willed individuals with no Manager in place being tempted to slide off the rails a little.

I know Adkins talked about players being given an MOT with the University support, it just seemed to become a bit more of a dark art under MP, or was that just the Media delving a little deeper into the key to our success last season and revealing the secrets.

All that left was Pochettino and his three coaches, the fitness and medical department will have set fitness schedules over the summer for the players. It really isn't an issue.

They'd have to be pretty daft to think there won't be a new manager in place for the first day of pre-season.
