Goatboy Posted 4 June, 2014 Posted 4 June, 2014 I know it's humid and only a friendly, but put a f**king suit on Roy. You look like an escaped mental patient.
Dig Dig Posted 4 June, 2014 Posted 4 June, 2014 Lambert looks a bit off the pace They all do, utter tripe
Goatboy Posted 4 June, 2014 Posted 4 June, 2014 Lambert looks a bit off the pace He's used to playing in a team that passes the ball.
Baird of the land Posted 4 June, 2014 Posted 4 June, 2014 Barkley is so greedy it's unbelievable Indeed, very much my thoughts on him. Can't see him breaking into starting 11 of this evidence. Ox looking more likely.
Saint J 77 Posted 4 June, 2014 Posted 4 June, 2014 Lazy Scouser lol yeah, I mean how did this old man lump of a player ever make the England team, they should have taken Carroll instead
trousers Posted 4 June, 2014 Posted 4 June, 2014 Shaw us waaaay to deep! This. Kept expecting him to appear at the top of the screen when we've got the ball in midfield but assume he's been told to play differently to how he plays at Saints. Typical England
doddisalegend Posted 4 June, 2014 Posted 4 June, 2014 Lambert looks a bit off the pace To be honest Rooney and Barkley seem to have a mental aversion to passing to him a few times he has found space and they've totally ignored him. Mind you Rooney hardly wants Lambert to have a good game even went as far as nicking Rickies goal and then celebrating like he has scored a worldy....
edprice1984 Posted 4 June, 2014 Posted 4 June, 2014 Before we all start to write off the England team it's important to remember that this is hardly the team that will line up against Italy. The way Wilshere is playing AL is a shoe in. Everything Lallana has worked on, JW seems to be lacking in...Pace, Power, Strength and the little trick up his sleeve. Rickie is actually playing his role perfectly...I would love to see them play him up front with Sturridge. Just seems the obvious partnership. I would drop Rooney and play Sterling or Barkley (who although a little greedy, is at least trying to change things up.) My starting line up for Manaus would be: Hart Johnson (because we don't have anyone else) Cahill Jagielka....Pray that neither of these gets injured Baines (Shaw is good enough) Gerrard (doing his Pirlo thing) Lallana Barkley Sterling (all three interchanging) Lambert (dropping deep Sturridge
Shroppie Posted 4 June, 2014 Posted 4 June, 2014 Would it actually be quite good if Luke has a mare of a WC, Manure lose interest and he can come back and mature a bit. Be worth more next year, unless Targett keeps him out of the team.

Saint Fan CaM Posted 4 June, 2014 Posted 4 June, 2014 Shaw not looking sharp enough...knocked off a few hundred thousand £'s his price tag. Milner is poor. Where's Lambert...is he playing? Rooney just terrible. Ox is looking good.

Be worth more next year, unless Targett keeps him out of the team. I don't think he's gonna get the opportunity to have a mare to be honest

For me: Hart Johnson:uhoh: Jagielka Cahill Baines Gerrard Henderson Ox Lallana Rooney Sturridge

Rooney just terrible. Ox is looking good. yes but Wayne Rooney who is allegedly playing on the left keeps taking up the same positions as rickie and getting in his way. Some decent deliveries from set pieces might help rickie as well.
Jonnyboy Posted 4 June, 2014 Posted 4 June, 2014 Less than 2mins for Lambert of Liverpool. Great ball Lambo. Breaks my heart. Ruined my world cup.
Dalek2003 Posted 4 June, 2014 Posted 4 June, 2014 Kerrching !!! 1M lost... Alternatively, offers are withdrawn and Luke stays a Saint !
Mystic Force Posted 4 June, 2014 Posted 4 June, 2014 Can't watch this game, but I watched Ecuador get taken apart by Mexico a few days ago. Who themselves got well done over my Bosnia, so if we can't compete with this lot we are in trouble.
Wrensup Posted 4 June, 2014 Posted 4 June, 2014 Yey.... Rickie... Lambert... Scores... Woooo... I'm so excited...
shurlock Posted 4 June, 2014 Author Posted 4 June, 2014 (edited) Rooney - that's how you score a goal, you fat **** Edited 4 June, 2014 by shurlock
Shroppie Posted 4 June, 2014 Posted 4 June, 2014 Great goal Lambo! I will never stop thinking of him as a Saint. Brilliant.
Whitey Grandad Posted 4 June, 2014 Posted 4 June, 2014 Breaks my heart. Ruined my world cup. Even more so now. I'm pleased for him but I take no pleasure out of it, if you see what I mean.
sfc6mufc3 Posted 4 June, 2014 Posted 4 June, 2014 This ex/present Saints England team is playing well.
Saint Fan CaM Posted 4 June, 2014 Posted 4 June, 2014 Why do I feel so bitter sweet about a cracking goal from Lambert? LOL
Joey-deacons-left-nut Posted 4 June, 2014 Posted 4 June, 2014 He's still a saints player until the 1st july Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
BotleySaint Posted 4 June, 2014 Posted 4 June, 2014 Pleased for him but we'd be jumping around the house screaming if he was still a saint.
CB Fry Posted 4 June, 2014 Posted 4 June, 2014 I will never stop thinking of him as a Saint. Brilliant. Great goal Lambo! My instinctive reaction too. Just happy for him. Lovely goal.
BotleySaint Posted 4 June, 2014 Posted 4 June, 2014 Chamberlain playing Lallana out of the first team lineup here.
shurlock Posted 4 June, 2014 Author Posted 4 June, 2014 Wilshere and Lampard are invisible No wonder the back four have looked iffy.
Saint J 77 Posted 4 June, 2014 Posted 4 June, 2014 Breaks my heart. Ruined my world cup. Me too. I am not sure I can even bare to watch it now. This world cup was going to be the first time in years I had someone to cheer on, a player I actually cared about. Now, although part of me still wants to see him to do well, I don't really give a toss about the England team. As far as I am concerned its just another typical England team full of pampered prima donnas and overpaid gimps again.
trousers Posted 4 June, 2014 Posted 4 June, 2014 (edited) Still feel a sense of pride seeing Lambert play for England. It probably feels a bit like adopting a child and bringing them up and then seeing them move out of the family home as an adult and starting out on the next phase of their life. (Not the best analogy in the world but you get my drift hopefully!) Part of him will always be a Saint Edited 4 June, 2014 by trousers

hypochondriac Posted 4 June, 2014 Posted 4 June, 2014 I'm still happy for rickie. I thought I would be sad but actually I was pleased for him. Great strike.
