What the **** is going on?

The club is being liquidated. Isnt obvious ?

Ralfie has been brought in to string along the fans until the board and KL have squeezed as much money out of the club as they can, knowing full well the ground, Academy, training facilities and especially our PL spot can still be sold as a going concern.

This is the beginning, dude..........

All this uncertainty and rumours is like natural viagra for you, your gonna be loving everyday until the transfer window closes.

But how is that the boards fault if they want to go?

So we have to let anyone who wants to leave go? How is that a good thing for us? Which other teams across Europe would contemplate selling 4-5 star players in one window and why?

If that happens, it's 100% the boards fault. I can't believe that anyone would see that different.

100% true, one or two top players might be understandable depending on the replacements lined up but seems like we are inviting bids at the moment, sfc players £3 a bunch come and get em! come an get em!

I have absolutely no doubt that we will sell one or some players during the summer.

I equally have no doubt that we will NOT negotiate a deal until the new manager is in place. The new manager will then have "bids on the table" for every first team player and WILL be able to choose who stays and who goes.

I equally have no doubt that our Scouting system have players lined up to come in for every position in the team (and the manager) and that the new manager will bring in his own preferences from "a shortlist"

I have no doubt we will make a profit from the sales.

It WILL happen, just not this week and not for 11 players

On the first point it will end up 4 or 5 minimum.

And your second point isnt true. We have been in negotiations since at the latest the Monday after the Utd game, but probably before then.

New Manager will most likely be told that a few are effectively gone and won't have a real say in it.

Some of these deals are too far down the line now.

God i wish i wasn't a saints fan at the moment. We won't have 11 players to field a team next season and will probably have some plonker like oscar garcia or dan petrescu as manager. Will stick £100 on Saints being relegated as we must be the most sure fire bet ever!!!!! The national media seem intent on destroying Southampton

Lets hope the board are not full of bullsh*tters and liars and do stay strong and not sell everyone off. If we sell 6 or 7 players we are fu**ed next season.

Very fed up and frustrated Saints fan even though noone has actually left yet but definately fear the worst

Taken in isolation each of the issues effecting this club need not been seen as a crisis - any financial difficulties effecting the club seem eminently manageable given the scale of guaranteed income on offer from the PL, managers have long come and go like the tide here, good players will always attract the attention of bigger clubs ...

However, the cumulative effect of all the negative stories swirling around SFC now are clearly damaging this club and its prospects for next season. I can only agree with those who think that the new board are not handling public relations at all well (or even competently) at this time and dragging the club out of what is starting to look like a crisis situation some meaningful statement of intent has to be made pretty damn quick - for instance putting in a serious bid to sign a quality replacement for SRL or issuing a statement that Adam Lallana and/or Luke Shaw are not for sale at any price might do the trick. Something along these lines needs to happen pretty damn quick if you ask me.

As for the theory that KL is 'asset stripping' the club, well this makes no sense as this asset of hers is going to be worth a hell of lot less back in the Championship in 12 months time.
