Kingsbridge Saint Posted 23 May, 2014 Posted 23 May, 2014 I hate Derby with a passion. the way their fans celebrated when we played them down here in the Play Off semi, after their side had kicked us off the park. Billy Davies's sole strategy that day was to try to hospitalise Bale. So as a result I will be hoping they beat QPR as I hate Redknapp even more and it would be the funniest thing all season.
ericofarabia Posted 23 May, 2014 Posted 23 May, 2014 Would love to see QPR torn a new one!! Derby away is a good away trip. A visit to The Brunswick, near the railway station, with it's own micro brewery and at least a dozen Real Ales is long overdue!!
KelvinsRightGlove Posted 23 May, 2014 Posted 23 May, 2014 I quite like this Derby team, Shhhhccctteeeeve has done a decent job to be fair. Would love us to steal Will Hughes off them, the kid looks a serious talent. Plus, just LOLs at QPR. They will be all kinds of screwed. Harry will walk away, no doubt none of it will be his fault. "Well it was an impossible job, I never stood a chance with that squad. I need to get some more of my own players in"
saint_jas Posted 23 May, 2014 Posted 23 May, 2014 Can't stand Redknapp, plus easy away trip for me next season. So cmn Derby.
Gorgiesaint Posted 23 May, 2014 Posted 23 May, 2014 Some interesting figures in the Guardian today looking at Championship finances - of course these figures are taken from the last published accounts so are mainly up to May 2013. It just goes to show that on top of the new PL TV deal which came in this season, you really begin to worry about sides getting relegated to the Championship. Of course, there's no figures for QPR as they were in the PL at the time but I think its fairly obvious that they won't make the situation any better!! http://www.theguardian.com/news/datablog/2014/may/22/championship-club-accounts-profit-loss-and-the-wage-bill http://www.theguardian.com/football/2014/may/22/club-by-club-guide-championship-finances-2012-2013 By the way Kingsbridge Saint, that made me chuckle cos that sums exactly how I feel. C'mon you Rams!
SNSUN Posted 23 May, 2014 Posted 23 May, 2014 On one hand, I want Derby to win, as it'll be an easier chance for 6 points next season than IMO QPR would. On the other, Derby have some tasty youngsters I want Saints to pilfer, so hope they don't go up. On the third hand (yes I have three, the third hand looks like a fist) I dislike QPR and think they're a poorly run club. Derby to win please, though I think QPRs experience may be telling.
Sour Mash Posted 24 May, 2014 Posted 24 May, 2014 Want Derby to win, but think QPR will just have too much for them on the day.
Jonnyboy Posted 24 May, 2014 Posted 24 May, 2014 Saggy looks and sounds completely unethusiastic in the prematch build up interview. Time to retire I reckon.
skintsaint Posted 24 May, 2014 Posted 24 May, 2014 Strange you have an ex-England manager lining up against a guy who thought he was the English manager at one point....amazing what can change in a few years...
adrian lord Posted 24 May, 2014 Posted 24 May, 2014 What is immediately apparent is how, compared to blue riband events such as the FA Cup etc, this game the tickets are allocated to the clubs and their real fans rather than corporates and freeloaders and tourists. Proper atmosphere around the entire stadium.
SNSUN Posted 24 May, 2014 Posted 24 May, 2014 That QPR team is quite something, and their bench is strong too. Failure for them to win today would highlight how **** of a coach Redknapp is. Still think they will win but I'll be quietly routing for Derby.

Batman Posted 24 May, 2014 Posted 24 May, 2014 derby remind me of us in the NPC with their attacking style
Window Cleaner Posted 24 May, 2014 Posted 24 May, 2014 derby remind me of us in the NPC with their attacking style they remind me of a salvation army hostel with their awful haircuts.
fanimal Posted 24 May, 2014 Posted 24 May, 2014 God he still looks like a ratty skate he once was, same old Pompey, always cheating….
SNSUN Posted 24 May, 2014 Posted 24 May, 2014 Derby been by far the better side. Just need that one clear cut chance to win this...
igsey Posted 24 May, 2014 Posted 24 May, 2014 Looks like Derby have been watching too many of our games - loads of possession, barely a chance to speak of.
SNSUN Posted 24 May, 2014 Posted 24 May, 2014 QPR are going to fluke this aren't they. Looking like it. Derby just need to concentrate and be patient. If QPR do want to win it'll probably be a shoot out. Come on Derby!
SNSUN Posted 24 May, 2014 Posted 24 May, 2014 Yep. Sure. ****ing Redknapp you lucky twitchy *****titted ****face.
DG Posted 24 May, 2014 Posted 24 May, 2014 NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. Got QPR @ 10 after the red card though. Doesn't make it any better...
iansums Posted 24 May, 2014 Posted 24 May, 2014 You've gotta feel sorry for Derby. Sent from my XT1032 using Tapatalk
igsey Posted 24 May, 2014 Posted 24 May, 2014 That was the most predictable thing I think I've ever seen ever.
dubai_phil Posted 24 May, 2014 Posted 24 May, 2014 That was the most predictable thing I think I've ever seen ever. ^this
Edmonton Saint Posted 24 May, 2014 Posted 24 May, 2014 One bit of QPR pressure all game and Derby couldn't deal with it. Livid. Seeing that saggy faced twitchy **** celebrating has ruined my Saturday.
Smirking_Saint Posted 24 May, 2014 Posted 24 May, 2014 I dont dislike Redknapp per se, but just cant stand QPR. How have they not been caught up in this FFP lark ? TF shells out cash like its going out of fashion !!

Batman Posted 24 May, 2014 Posted 24 May, 2014 great, we will be hearing tony fernandez giving his opinion on everything again, next season
Lord Duckhunter Posted 24 May, 2014 Posted 24 May, 2014 I hope the derby twts who danced in front of us in the pouring rain were there today.
Window Cleaner Posted 24 May, 2014 Posted 24 May, 2014 Rope a dope, usually works if your keeper and defenders keep their end up. Green played well I thought.
Window Cleaner Posted 24 May, 2014 Posted 24 May, 2014 God, fernandez is all over the camera already It's what he pays his money for really. He invests, he gets his share of the limelight when they do something notable. Rich people used to invest in explorations, arts, strange quests. Now they invest in football.

Dark Munster Posted 24 May, 2014 Posted 24 May, 2014 Think HR will leave QPR before the season starts. In order to replace MP?
scotty Posted 24 May, 2014 Posted 24 May, 2014 Think HR will leave QPR before the season starts. In order to replace MP? Please, not even in jest. I couldn't bear that.
Dark Munster Posted 24 May, 2014 Posted 24 May, 2014 http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2637545/QPR-facing-50m-fine-transfer-embargo-breaking-FFP-rules-prepare-Championship-play-final-against-Derby.html Fun and games ahead. I think they should be stripped of promotion. That'll cover the 50 million fine. Cheats.
supersonic Posted 25 May, 2014 Posted 25 May, 2014 Think HR will leave QPR before the season starts. so do I. could be to take up a position on the south coast?
SuperSAINT Posted 25 May, 2014 Posted 25 May, 2014 Yesterday: Fernandes: "Harry Redknapp and me are very close and the manager is already talking about new players and next season. He never stops. After the whistle he was mentioning a couple of players." Today: Harry: "I haven't even thought about a player for next year - honestly"
