spyinthesky Posted 21 May, 2014 Posted 21 May, 2014 ... on the ex Cortese club house in Chilworth. 'The Glade', Woodside Avenue, is on with Knight Frank at £2.1m, having been purchased by the club for £1.8m Another asset disposal?
St Chalet Posted 21 May, 2014 Posted 21 May, 2014 If you don't have need for a £2m house, then sell it would be sensible business IMHO.

The Kraken Posted 21 May, 2014 Posted 21 May, 2014 Put some carpet in the toilet and I might think about putting a bid in.
doddisalegend Posted 21 May, 2014 Posted 21 May, 2014 So was this the house NC got to live in for being Chairman? Poor darling really suffered during his time here didn't he......
scotty Posted 21 May, 2014 Posted 21 May, 2014 So was this the house NC got to live in for being Chairman? Poor darling really suffered during his time here didn't he...... What did you expect? Millbrook Towers?
shurlock Posted 21 May, 2014 Posted 21 May, 2014 Looks like some strip-mall Pentacostal church. Grotesque.
doddisalegend Posted 21 May, 2014 Posted 21 May, 2014 What did you expect? Millbrook Towers? Why not. Why did he needed a house in Chilworth that cost the club 1.8 million? could have spent that money on a couple of extra players in league 1
COMEONYOUREDS Posted 21 May, 2014 Posted 21 May, 2014 Why did the club need to provide him with a house? It's not like he couldn't afford a place like that himself on his massive salary
The Kraken Posted 21 May, 2014 Posted 21 May, 2014 Why did the club need to provide him with a house? It's not like he couldn't afford a place like that himself on his massive salary It's not exactly unprecedented for football clubs to provide houses for the upper echelons of management, plus manager and players.
the colonel Posted 21 May, 2014 Posted 21 May, 2014 just another stick to bash....Cortese? Saints? KL?.....depending what side of the drivell you take on this website........yawn
Lets B Avenue Posted 21 May, 2014 Posted 21 May, 2014 Why not. Why did he needed a house in Chilworth that cost the club 1.8 million? could have spent that money on a couple of extra players in league 1 When we were in L1 he lived in Benali's place (also Chilworth). That worked out well.
lifeintheslowlane Posted 21 May, 2014 Posted 21 May, 2014 Hmmm we've been thinking of downsizing. It could fit the bill...how far is it from the pub?
JackanorySFC Posted 21 May, 2014 Posted 21 May, 2014 A good mate of mine fitted the bathrooms there. Sorry to disappoint people but apparently NC was a top bloke, his missus sound and easy to work for and he was paid on time.

Quite unlike someone I know who did a load of building work for him and had to have a summons issued to get paid. Before he started the job NC was "a great bloke". Afterwards, somewhat different.
Sarnia Saint Posted 21 May, 2014 Posted 21 May, 2014 Plus houses are a better investment than leaving the cash in the bank but hey
