Professor Posted 19 May, 2014 Posted 19 May, 2014 The OS has probably had more hits over the last few days than usual as fans look for news about the manager and whether the club is resisting the loss of star players. How many more times do we need to say Goodbye to Guly? No offence, but it was old news before it happened and was then the headline for about 48 hours. Great for 17-yr old Josh Sims to be involved with the England u-17 squad but to say that Sims has reached the Euro u-17 final when he was an unused sub at the semi, is stretching the story just a little. All media outlets are familiar with the 'silly season' when the politicians are away in July and August but it seems to have arrived a bit early for the OS.

Heisenberg Posted 19 May, 2014 Posted 19 May, 2014 Perhaps this is all that’s happened? We have a manager under contract and players tied into long deals. So far its all paper talk and nothing more. Swansea were in the same predicament as us last summer, after an impressive league finish and cup win they had regular reports of a mass exodus. It never really happened. Relax until we hear more, just remember when Nicola left in January and we had similar sensationalised headlines everyday for the weeks following?
