The Saints '25' Man Squad of 16

As it stands we have 15 over 21 players remaining from the closed term, and Gazzaniga will have to be included as a full squad player next year taking it up to 16:- (U21 in italics)

Add whoever you want out of Mayuka / Osvaldo / Sharp to next years squad but its impossible to look at that squad list and think that even if players don't leave, we need to enter the transfer market heavily.

I think you missed out the word 'don't' between 'we' and 'need'?

It's also interesting to look at this list and think that with our relatively small squad and large prem income we ought to be able to offer pretty good wages to our top players.

 

I'm sure we will add a few players and I am also sure that we will see some more players come out of the youth team.

That's looking an incredibly weak team if you take Lallana out to. Let's hope we can bring in quality replacements that can hit the ground running. If not we might be in trouble.
