Been watching bits of the barca game

Athletico Madrid are very dirty but they defend like beasts

Madrid are champions and the barca fans applaud them all round the ground

Pity they weren't playing in the red and white stripes of Southampton, but well done to Los Rojiblancos.

Trophy being engraved with Arsenals name with 7 minutes left to play. Disgusting. And Hull nearly scored. Bet the engraver shat himself for a second...

Well, Arsenal had the signs up for the open bus route....It all must have been foretold in the stars.

Ha! Almost like West Ham and their celebratory boat party they organised the year we got promoted.

What a player Ramsey is.

Just shows how sensible Wengers policy was a few years back of signing the absolute cream of young talent from the lower divisions. Something we should not be afraid of doing. I wonder how many of our fans would **** themselves if we found out £15m was going on a 17 year old league 1 player this summer?

Not really, they won and were by far the better side

I posted this at the end of the game

The idea that winning the FA cup is going to kickstart a new era of trophies and a new found mental strength, as some are hoping and claiming, is ***** IMO.

It's like finishing 8th could mean we kick on next year

At the end of the day, these arsenal players have not won anything at arsenal. Fair play to them, they were by a long way the better side and you could see it meant a great deal

Our situation is sightly different - our transfer budget is not large enough to make the long-term bets. The top clubs can afford to wait, knowing their squad is deep enough that other players can fill in. By contrast, it is expected that our signings will make a more or less immediate impact.
