Does Katherina Liebherr have your suppport?

Maybe NC had the 'project' and drive to see it through, but he never spent a penny of his own money, that was Markus and then KL.

For that reason KL has my 'support', although I agree with earlier posts that we need to be self sufficient as a club and not depend on further financial input.

We are now about where we have been over the last 40 years, give or take a few ups and a major down - a good provincial club taking points off the bankrolled (but heavily in debt) top clubs.

We've been here since 1885 haven't we?

We'll get where we'll get because that's what we are no matter what ****** is spouted by the press, on websites or anywhere else and there's nothing you can do to change that so chill, people. Just watch and wait.

We'll still be going to St Mary's next season to watch Saints play, whoever is in the team, whoever is the manager, to cheer them on and swear at the refs - apart from those that spend their life and energy moaning and whinging here.

Do people still feel the same and still trust Katherina? im not trying to do the told you so thing, just wondered if anyone is now fearing the worst and that she is asset stripping ahead of a sell?

Do you believe Katherina has the clubs best interests at heart or do you think she is merely looking to sell her inheritance at a profit? (can we blame her for this?) Do you support her decisions so far? and Do you think she has any interest in the club outside a business one?

Errrr. No she doesn't. She should sell the club or invest in it and gain my support. Simple.

Fair to say i ain't happy with the direction of travel. I wouldn't go as far to say that i've 100% made up my mind yet despite my fears/worries.

The manager and Lallana/Shaw stuff are very much tipping points which i'm waiting nervously for any sign of positive outcomes.

I want to see actions that back up claims of ambition for european football

No top half team has ever sold multiple star players in the past and therefore we shouldn't be doing so.

We've become a bit of a soft touch since NC has gone, I don't think we'll ever see somebody at the helm of the club with so much control over everything. The new board don't really seem to know what they're doing, and it's heartbreaking to see all the good work from our rise back up the leagues go to sh!t in the same month that we recorded our best ever Premier League finish and had 3 (nearly 4, now 2) players named in the England WC squad.

I'm just worried about lurching back into that unstable period under Lowe where we sold off our best players but didn't invest the money again properly. I really do hope that this is mostly just spin and PR, but there's a sickening feeling right now that we're going backwards again.

This. The early indicators are certainly there again.

I think its almost impossible to invest the money to guarantee replacements that would be of the same value to us. What money can replace a club captain who's playing for England and has been Saints through and through for years? And, what a talent. No chance we could fully replace him.

Yes why crab lungs . It's not her fault . MOPO NC and LR

And the vultures agents are equally to blame

How is NC to blame ?!? How is MoPo to blame !?

Reed maybe, Krueger maybe but then they are under KLs employment and essentially allowing NC to leave has enabled the period of instability.

I support the board but certainly dont trust any of them, including KL

Smirking . NC has a degree of responsibility in my humble opinion .

If he had been sensible when he was with us and not have been a silly egotistical person and towed the party line he would still be with the club . He didn't and he left in a huff . MP,s day were numbered from there on in . It wouldn't suprise me if levy was sounding MP at around that time

I appreciate these is purely conjecture but if this happened then that's when that's when the rot set in .

If NC had been more realistic and toned down his megalomania approach he and MP and co would still be with us .

Simples.

My message to KL:

Your father and you have the utmost gratitude of the majority (if not all) of the Saints fans for rescuing us from oblivion and retuning us to our rightful place – for that I for one will be eternally grateful.

However, it would appear from various media and other sources that you do not appear to share your father’s passion for football or Saints, which is fair enough. If that is indeed the case, please please do not destroy your great father’s legacy by destroying this wonderful club. By all means, take a fair profit on your and your father’s investment by selling to someone who will further your father’s legacy, and loves football (and maybe even Saints).

Please do not asset strip the club, or continue with the amateur/wanbe board to tarnish your father’s legacy – there is no price on a legendary reputation, which your father has, and one you risk completely tarnishing if current events continue. Also, why have you been so silent during one of our most concerning period since you were in charge?

I'm on the fence on this, she don't say much and they've not done a lot to quash the rumours except the statement they released after rickie was sold, which in my eyes was very vague. Lets see whats left of our squad after the summers over. Its going to be a long one!
