Have a friend who works at Southampton airport, says a Mr Koeman has just arrived.

Hmmm there is a flight that arrives from Amsterdam at 14.10...

I now have no faith in this joke of a "board" to bring in a decent replacement. Getting the feeling that succes on the pitch now isn't as paramount as the finances. As soon as that happens It's always a wonder whether any decision is actually made on footballing grounds first, or finances/yes men first

This is what we need , lots of sightings of potential managers in and around the city.

who is keeping an eye on the rented flat of Martin O'Neill in winchester?

If we fend off Liverpool over Lallana, I'll have a little more faith in Reed. What worries me is how can he negotiate with the best managers whilst simultaneously be seen to be asset stripping at worst or weakening the team at best, whether it makes financial sense or not (and so far Rickie's fee hasn't made financial sense)? Surely thats got to put off the best candidates not attract them!? Perhaps thats why Moyes is not seemingly in the frame?

I've heard a rumour Yakins move to CSKA has failed. Can anyone confirm that as I have done some research and my Russian is poor (non existent).

it failed because they have a manager already, it's Spartak Moscow he's on the bring of joining

My thoughts exactly. Instead of constant criticism of the board why don't people start looking at the players. Its not like they're being sold against their will.

True, they are being sold because A) They want an Ambitious Club, and B) The SFC Board are in full control of transfers, and will sanction them as soon as they can

I would call you a c**t but they have some depth.

Player is offered £80k per week to play at one of the worlds biggest clubs and you wonder why they want to go?

Would the players be unsettled if the board had ambition and a clear planned way ahead like we had before?

To be fair to Gross his record is good and is even better that Yakin's at the same club and yoi were keen on Yakin.

Yakin has that special extra something. Now what is it? Oh yeah. He's not bloody Christian Gross.

But we have a plan. Ralph said so:

"The plan is a permanently evolving entity. We have a plan, we are very well structured and organised and have extremely good people heading up that plan.

As we evolve we are continually strengthening and working on that plan."

What's more we have a vision:

"The vision has been very clear right through to the last person, and that is to take this club into European football. It is driving everything we do."

That's why we are selling our best players.

Do you think if the current board were more ambitious UEFA might let us play in next years Champions League? You know, if we ask extra nicely.

Some interesting comments about Koeman from Feyenoord fan @Markla94:

I don't know much about the Saints, but I do know they have a good academy. He would be a good one, he is someone who has

brought a lot of academy players into the first team, both at Ajax and Feyenoord.

When he came to Feyenoord, we had no money and only academy players. He created something very special.

So I think he is a good coach in hard situations (I explained the context of the current situation). But when you have money to spend, he can bring in the right players for sure.

In that case, he is the ideal next manager.

Some rumors today that he wants to bring Graziano Pelle along. Would be thrilling for you to have him. Best striker in NL.

Pelle would be an interesting option - would bring some Lambertesque qualities.

Who knows -its the Dutch league but he has all the right attributes to make it in England and wouldn't cost a stack either.

Pelle's record at Feyenoord looks outstanding, even if you take the quality of the league into account, but his career before that point looks pretty journeyman. Anyone know much more about him? Has he came close to getting a look in for Italy?

Think he played in the Olympic side.

Paid the price for playing in one of the little leagues. Watched him a few times on ESPN and got my attention when Chelsea were linked. Was touted as one of Europe's hottest prospects when he was a youngster but subsequently lost his way. Really kicked on under Koeman after Feyenoord sold Guidetti (who's hardly set England alight, though he's been ill). Very good technique, though more of a finisher than an allround player like Lambert.

The problem is that Ralph's plan seems to have omitted a short list of who they would offer the Saints manager job to once MP started meeting the Spuds.

Thanks. Sounds attainable as well, depending on how things pan out. Surprise we weren't linked to him last summer.

Not great for what's supposed to be one of the finest minds around on organisation and planning is it. Whereas Cortese, village idiot if you listen to some, he had a new guy lined up the day he wanted to sack the old guy.

and that Window Cleaner hits the nail on the head about Kreuger. He appears to be all talk and no action. One of the worst types of Leaders.

He doesn't lead, he tells other people how to lead. You know like a Uni prof, tells you how it is and then gets hit by a bus crossing the road because he's dreamed up some nobel prize theory.

Yes or as the Consultant who asks you to tell him the time using your watch. I do believe that a media backlash on Kreuger may be the best we can hope for to wake him up!

Under the present circumstances, I'm not at all surprised that they want away

IMHO, if Pochettino had stayed, the players would have stayed, because next season we could have qualified for Europe, something most Top players want

So, as I said, they will seek to go to Ambitious Clubs

What part of that don't you agree with. Calling me names does not alter the fact that SFC is a Shambles at the moment

But I expect you think it is all peaches and cream

So you think the current board have a plan and have sold it to the former manager and players do you and therefore the existing chaos and bail outs are not happening?

Which he never had any attention of doing once he knew spurs were interested..........
