Everything agreed with Lallana`s reps today , permission given by Southampton just got to agree a fee with them which is now inevitable #lfc

This bloke has 13k followers for a reason. When you look into the replies he gets. He is basically their version of the Thevman.

Still I'm hoping, like you, that he is another bull****ter.

well that tweet doesn't make sense - why would we give permission for them to agree "everything with Lallan's reps" before we've even agreed the fee, that's not going to happen.

I'm not sure what you mean by him being their version of "the V-Man"- I don't think the Vman ever gave us any transfer exclusives.

"Thinkin u can sign our captain before the World Cup. which World Cup are Liverpool talking about? 2032? No ****ing chance before or after"

He said that and replied to a guy who said he'd put £100 on Lallana to Liverpool. He told him he was going to lose it as Adam was saints through and through.

Maybe the THEVMAN is Lallana himself. He loves us and wants to tell us as much as he can but cant. Would also explain the 'it has been fun' comment and why he left the forum (moving to liverpool so no more insider info).

Then again, maybe not :)

Yep totally the wrong way round , Fee is always areed with the club before personal terms are discussed and agreed by the agent .

Therefore this is almost certainly rubbish !

My Mrs bro was at a celeb party in London at the weekend and a few of the footballing agents were there, a couple of them advised him that Lallana and Lovren will be announced as Liverpool players next week, £30m for the pair.

Make of it what you will, my guess is it Bull.

£30million?!?!?!?! hahahahahahaha

Football agents are like estate agents, only difference is that a very small number of them are very highly paid and an even smaller number are decent

That would be correct if the reality was like football manager, its not.

Myself & a work colleague both know different people who are on Lallana's stag in Miami. We've both been told the Liverpool deal has been agreed in principal, just need to agree a fee and arrange for a medical once England are back from their training camp. If this is true unsure if it'll be announced before or after the WC but I'd imagine the former to a) stop the speculation whilst he's in Brazil and b) the fact it's quite a big story to try and keep a secret!

Make of it what you will etc etc.

Oh really ......you think agents are running around agreeing personal terms for clients before approaching the club that has the player under contract and asking if he is for sale even and agreeing a price between the clubs ???? Really

A side from a few semantics, it all works mostly like that. Players are sounded out, agents speak to club reps and know what sort of terms are needed etc . Clubs don 't like to waste time negotiating with clubs unless they know the player is keen and what it takes to get them.

Yes. Absolutely. It's very naive to think the big clubs don't talk with agents before making approaches to the club. Very naive. It also explains why most journalists believe this deal is almost complete. We get the chance to see how tough our board is now when it comes to negotiating fees. Both Lallana and Shaw have 4 years left on their deals and the only benefit in handing out long term contracts to players is because of this exact scenario. We set the price and it better be a big one. Otherwise no deal and if Lalana has a problem with that then tough ****

If our board sell Lallana for £20 million or him & Lovren for £30 million they are a total joke and i hope they put the club up for sale before they relegate us!!! Lallana should be sold for no less than £30 million and i can't see Liverpool paying that. If we don't have to sell why are we giving our best players away Lovren should be for £20+ million. We currently appear to have the biggest mickey mouse board in the pl who seem to be totally out of their depth(very unimpressed if the inevitable happens).

So if we sell Shaw,Lallana,Lovren and Morgan will the manager be given £100 million to spend to rebuild our side. We will need about 10 players!!?

Rickie, unless he's already established that? Anyway, he'd be the main face for me in any case. Chambers?

Lambert already a legend. Chambers will probably go next summer if the trend continues with our best Academy prospects. Cork could be in without a shout of making a lot of appearances if we ever get round to speaking to him about a new contract.

And where has that come from? Don't just say twitter. We know it only takes one person to say that on there and then it can get out of control.

It is his best mate.i used to follow him.when it became coming knowledge that he was lallanas mate he got loads of followers hence why he probably protected his tweets.if i remember righly it was one of the players that said to follow him whennhe first joined.possibly even lallana himself.

According to the gossip column on the Beeb this morning, the deal has hit a glitch because Liverpool wont match our valuation.

Typical Scousers. Its either never miss an opportunity to steal, ot its "We are Liverpool, we are entitled to have your player given to us".

And there was me thinking a Liverpool title would freshen up the mix at the top of English football. A 2nd place after choking, and we are right back in the arrogant self-righteousness of the 80s....

Why are we selling shaw tho? No need to.
Might be no need Roger, but I just feel 99% sure that he wants to go. He has ambition and he is joining man U at the start of a new revolution. In return we get top dollar and move on! If a player really wants to leave, absolutely nothing we can do, but £30m+ certainly softens the blow for me

He isn't desperate to go at all. I know that for a fact.

Think the 'V' may have been one of our recently departed coaches! FWIW, I think Adam will stay and we will get a decent replacement for Luke!

Why'd you think Adam will stay? The best mate comments we're actually positive and don't know why'd he have said those things if he wasn't sure Adam would leave!

Not sure you can really use Downing as an example. Times have moved on from then and Liverpool are somewhat more savvy and/or ess profligate than they were 3 years ago.

I will always use Downing as an example of horrendous over payment :)
