Puddings and Monkeys Posted 10 May, 2014 Share Posted 10 May, 2014 Surprisingly can't see any other thread about their big day out a Wembley. Anybody going to to follow the team in red and white stripes? Yep; got hospitality tkts too and am really looking forward to it. Apparently Woy is going to be there so I'll tap him up for info about how many Saints he's taking.

At the start of the season most of us dreamed of a Southampton team , preferably in red and white stripes, winning the cup at Wembley. Hope MP takes note. SholingFC Posted 10 May, 2014 Share Posted 10 May, 2014 Thanks for all your support & messages. Lost for words, amazing day, amazing season. Was our 70th first team game of the season today & yet these great bunch of lads also have full time jobs, but their dedication and love of the game & team spirit is amazing. Thanks to Saints for letting the boys pitchside before tomorrow's game. Mind you, seeing how they all like a drink, they may be crawling out of the tunnel! UP THE BOATMEN! AtomicSaint Posted 11 May, 2014 Share Posted 11 May, 2014 Great result for them. Sholing born and bred myself, Mum still lives in the same house. Used to watch Sholing Sports as I think they were in the first half of the 70's in North East Road. If we did not have enough pocket money left would get in at half time for free. Will be good to see them with their trophy at St Mary's this afternoon.

Sholing Sports I think went to the wall although they may still have some youth teams - not sure. Anyway more to the point a great result
